You mentioned good points. I lived in Sherbrooke city and studied at UdeS from 2012 to 2017. I really loved this city and especially the university but I needed a vibe city. I moved to Montreal. I think living in Sherbrooke for student time is good but after that, no. at least for me was like that.

Thanks for sharing your experience! for me, I have a little problem with nightlife here but in winter most of Canada is similar to Sherbrooke :)

I studied bachelor at UdeS. it was amazing memorises. However, I have no idea about it after 2017. This city and university are great. I should tell you that I am originally from Quebec and I have no problem with language :) I agree its location and price are good.

I just want to know one thing. I have the possibility to do a mobility year in Canada but I would like to do how people are in general ? I tend to get along with people who are willing to strike up conversations, not closed off. Being an introvert, I prefer the company of extrovert. Is it easy to find a part time student job there ? What is the average price of a studio for a student ? Thank you very much for this video ! It really helps to get an international student's perspective !

Hi, Thanks for watching my video. About your questions, I can tell my experience in Quebec province. In general, people are welcoming and nice. In QC you need to learn French to have better communications. Also, finding part-time jobs are possible especially for who are bilingual. Honestly, I don’t know the new prices of Appartment in Sherbrooke city but I can tell that Quebec province is not expensive one in Canada. If you need more info, let me know.

I lived there less than one year for an internship. it was a good city and UdeS is so welcoming university. I had just a problem with language and quit Quebec! 😅

I can tell that, in general, UdeS is a good university. Especially about AI, they are working well, and I can see some cool projects. Also, Quebec and Montreal are hubs of AI in Canada. So, it’s a good opportunity for people who want to live long-term in Quebec. All in all, answering your question needs better information about your choices and passions. If you need more help, let me know.
