Speaking of superpowers reflecting on the characters who have them, I highly recommend Worm, because it's basically that concept the series. As a long time comics lover, that web-serial is IMO the best superhero story ever written.

I loved Madame Web! It was solid and all the bad stuff didn't take away from the film, but made it more enjoyable because of how bizarre the choices made were. It wasn't boring like Morbius, and even though it isn't a great film, I can't help but enjoy it, and not just enjoy it in a "so bad it's good way," but genuinely enjoy it on an unironic level.

I would really love to be in the world where the Sony non-Spider-Man Spider-Man universe was filled with really great movies, that all succeeded. Because there are genuinely bits of fantastic writing buried under tons and tons of bad bits like this. Whether or not the writers knew that it was there, doesn't matter. Great video!

I recently watched it and honestly, outside of the terible editing (and some weird acting) it wasn't that bad. It was genuinely interesting to watch and it made me want to see more of "Evil Spider-Man horror movie" that they kinda had in there. I really wonder how this might've gone if it wasn't rushed and had more dedicated people behind it

Hot take, I genuinely don’t understand why people don’t like this film. Does it have a lot of cringe and stupid moments? Absolutely, but I enjoyed a lot about it and would absolutely call it a good film. Also anyone who says Morbius was better is insane, the only area where Morbius was better was with the villain. Madame Web is better in every other way.

I think it’s because audiences don’t have time for mediocre or subpar content. There’s only so much time and so much to see that if it isn’t 10/10 good or connected to something I really care about, it may as well be a 2/10. I don’t watch anything that is rated like under an 8 anymore because I just don’t have time. And even then, I only really watch stuff in genres I care about.
