Is Madden 2004 Still GOOD in 2023?

Bro you gotta hit L2 to bring down the passing icons to scramble before the line. Then you can use X to sprint behind the line as well as spins and jukes. Go back and play with Vick using that and see how fun it is.

I was about to say that's not true haha. People scrambled all the time on this game. Vick is crazy in Madden 04.

I loved Madden 2004 so much back then that I didn't buy another until I bought a PS3 and got Madden 12. It still has the best Owner Mode of any Madden besides 12, the stadium and team creator you didn't even mention is the best the series ever got and the gameplay is still pretty solid. I did buy Madden 2005 the next year but that was because I wanted to see the new graphics engine they went to at the time but 2004 was still my go-to. It's still a fantastic game.

1. On original Xbox, you press Y (Triangle on PS2?) to bring the passing icons down to scramble with the QB. 2. You can change the controller 🎮 configuration to Type 2 which let's you sprint with A (X on PS2) instead of B/Circle. 3. Not sure if you were playing on a real PS2 or an emulator. I play on an original Xbox with component cables which play at 720p. I make videos of these retro Madden games with video captured directly from the component cables and the graphics look great.

Heck yeah..without a question...I made the historic teams for this game...I got gameplay and everything...this game was deep...madden cards, owner mode, mini-camp, two minute drill and the soundtrack is just amazing, I just love the makeup of the whole game...undisputedly the best madden of all-time in my opinion!

Mini camp modes were on ps2 until madden 12 for ps2 last madden on ps2
