Bit of an inside joke I was gonna share, but forgot when the video dragged too long. When Zedd picked up Lee without any practice, he was winning with nothing but f2,1even in red ranks. Like, f2,1 block into f2,1 hit. I guess the pushback confuses noobs

How can you even question mashing in t8. Half of tekken kings I fight in t8 have no defence. Just brainless mashing. How do you counter it? Outmash or be patient and punish. Theres no neutral

Because I went on a losestreak by mashing fighting against Tekken King+, and got more consistent wins by playing a bit more reserved. But I'm not denying half of Tekken Kings have no defense, I've fought many who don't, and they're easy pickings. Even a really bad TGS alisa And GoD Victor. I think I mentioned that in the discussion after finishing MainMan's video, cut that out tho, so you wouldn't know it. Also "To beat mashing or you mash, or defend and punish". Soo... You can beat mashing by not mashing then? Seems like you're defeating your own argument of it just being brainless mashing

It's less required in this game than ever before...but just ONE kbd cancel will kill ALL that mashing. One kbd and a sidestep block will take care of the stuff with more reach. Especially after 1.05. Im not saying it isnt annoying...but it's a fun type of annoying. I'd glady run into a masher as opposed to someone that actively thinks about placing their buttons. Consistency will always be key! Im a TK Hwo w a Kishin Shaheen on the side for the nerds who need that info btw

@@ferventfoureyes You forgot to mention that kbd itself can kill you because of wierd neutral guard. Kbd and ss in t8 is very close to panic moves.

@crazy911wman I was going to agree with you.......until you said backdashing and ss are like panic moves. You absolutely lost any credibility I was going to give you. Yes the db in the kbd can be dangerous but there is nothing at all risky about a ss if you cancel it with a block. At the end of the day, you're either going to find a way to succeed or find a way to complain....I think we're at opposite ends of that spectrum tbh.
