I used to draw very often til it became my hobby. Im actually good at it and many people tell me that i should become an artist. HOWEVER doing it knowing that it doesnt please Allah always hunted me. I stopped drawing animals and humans alhamdu lillah even if it was really hard for me to stop since i was good at it and i even started animating. We can draw plants or objects. Never risk Paradise for your desires its not worth it. In scha Allah i can draw in Jannah

Salam alaykum bro, I like animation even before reverting to islam. But I stopped because I learned it is a sin and could result into severe punishment. But according to what you stated in this video, there is an exception to the rule. Can you give me the source of dalil(proof) that it is permitted in some ways? If it is really permissible, I will start making islamic animation. But, if it is prohibited, I would stick to the law given by Allah.

Okay hear me out ! I’m very passion of learning animation from very yang age. My dream is to make my own show. I draw cartoon character are humans. But I’m not trying to Similar to God's creation. My intention is pure. I’m just doing it for my dream for my passion I grew up with cartoons and could never measure myself not doing it. I want to tell a story to people by animating it!

Hey sis, I just quit the Animation field despite learning it for a year due to ignorance of the bad fate it would bring! (Since its Haraam) Alhamdulillah... I switched to a field where I use the 3D software but not for doing forbidden things! In shaa Allah - Just do a Halal decision and Allah will take care of you.

Jazakumullahu khair shaikh Can we make 2d moving animations (cartoons) of fruits and vegetables or simple shapes circle triangleetc or alphabets and numbers having somewhat facial expressions for educating children ? With no music in the background .. please guide . I intend to create some alternative educational content for Muslim children but I want to do it in a careful manner as I don't want to indulge in haram thinking it to be a good thing for ummah. I have a question. Animation of humans and living beings are not permissible bcz these are Allah's creation but sir if i animate a waterfall or a mountain or rain or sun anything else so i thinking about that these are also Allah's creation so how can i animate this how is this permissible? We can not build a mountain, we can not doing the rain so how is this halal and that (humans animation or pictures) haram? Please please clear this mass in my mind please for Allah's sake pleas.

What about the animations that are made for Muslim rhymes and cartoons. I know my niece and nephew watch cartoons that teach them about saying salam or Allah's name. Would creating those cartoons be haram as well? Or i know they have books with cartoons and faces teaching them different duas. What's the ruling on that? I also wanted to ask, isn't making idol haram because people might worship it. However, in today's day and age making animation is more about entertainment and people will never worship them. Then why should they be haram to make? Because I know scholars have said they are not haram to watch as long as they do not have anything bad in them. How can the kids watch good cartoons unless they are made??

M a preschool teacher...can I make cartoons or animated animals or birds (2d) bcoz it's necessary to decorate the class in such a way coz the kids are small and their class has to be colorfull to make them sit in the class and they are attracted towards it... I think you should just draw things like: scenery, rainbow, sky,stars ,trees , flowers or fruits etc as it is permissible and i think it will do fine. Beside you can't draw living moving creatures like humans,animals etc no Matter what.

Some Muslim animators just use arabic alphabets. And also just sacrifice the neck over the face. In my opinion, I will rather remove the neck rather than the face. Living things can't live without their necks right? There are lot of tricks on hiding the full features of leaving things.

I want to ask if drawing pictures of humans and having paintings of them is haram if god made grass and mountains etcetera why is it haram drawing people? besides cartoon drawings have unrealistic eyes. Just dots when real people don’t have dots on their face. Can you write back? I didn’t know it’s banned under Islam. But I don’t know who worships paintings it feels ridiculous.

"Animation is drawing. and drawing is permissible unless it involves life" - Person preaching me Islam on KZbin who has animated trees, grass, ( and butterflies? ) on his greenscreen background. Last I checked, trees have life, Islam even says so. Maybe this video is directed towards kids who might be interested in making animations? Or maybe the ruling doesn't apply to religion sales men. Allah knows best.
