Enjoyed the video, In Marbella at the moment, old town is beautiful, some really good tapas restaurants & prices are reasonable, haven’t seen much of the rest of the city, boardwalk is great for strolling, summer time is very busy, lot of tourists, feels a safe place to be in, I definitely will return

I agree that Malaga is beautiful. Have you been to Valencia? We visited there and loved it. Thanks for showing us around.

You’re feelings about Marbella is similar to my feelings about Cabo San Lucas vs. La Paz. It’s all about the history and the effects of the tourism factor, IMHO. Thanks for the video.

I can totally understand that! La paz is the best!

"I've reached an age where one of my favorite ways to explore a place is to go for a run": You killed me with that sentence 😅 I can relate. I also reached an age where certain things are reasonable to me now that in my younger age not so much...

Hi Laura, I enjoyed your video. You add so much pizzaz & expression which makes your videos fun to watch. I have strong desires to check out Spain, Europe sounds my next big continent to explore. Your new hair-do is cute too. Thankyou and look forward to catching up on a few more of your adventures. Cheerio for now & happy trails.

When I was smaller I used to live close to Marbella and also in Torremolinos and I really feel like what you were looking for was Puerto Banus. From what I remember there really isn't anything that special about Marbella itself, Puerto Banus however is more of a site, for better or worse. Then again, I was quite small so my memory isn't perfect. Love Spain though, love these vlogs

If you are into real estate investments, Marbella is by far the highest ROI in the world. I'm American and from Vegas. Trust me, this is the place to invest in rental properties. Suitable for tourists to come and hang out for sure. My best city in Spain is Seville. Not much of a big city fan since I'm so used to live in San Francisco and LA. Madrid and Barcelona are more like typical major cities.

I do have a comment. I do enjoy your videos but to go to Marbella and explore the town at 7 AM or 8 AM as you go to a conference I am not sure this is a fair review of all there is to see and do in Marbella. Just my humble opinion I feel you should adapt to the Spanish schedule to give it a fair review. Unless this is just a review cause somehow busy European hot spots are not your thing so you can sound cool. Anyway I think you should try to do some of your exploring when other people are out and about so you can get a better feel for the charm of Marbella.

That’s a fair comment considering I only showed the morning exploring but I did go out in Marbella 4 out of the 5 nights I was there. I was there for feria San Bernabe, I ate at different restaurants and checked out some chiringuitos. I just didn’t really love it. 🤷♀️ I think the fact that I came here after seeing Malaga which is just a better city in my opinion and after Cabo de Gata which has some of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen, it’s an unfair comparison in Marbella.

Hi Laura, it’s not you. I got the same feeling when I was in Nerja. I mean it’s a pretty beach but this is it? Mostly just tourists and condos. More like Disneyland at the beach than anything truly authentically Spanish. You might also enjoy traveling up the other coast, Valencia, Barcelona, Girona. Too many places to explore, not enough time. 🙂

Most of the filming was done in the morning, so that’s why it was quiet. Marbella was relatively busy, especially the beaches and at night in the town. Perhaps a bit too busy for the size of the town in fact.

Cordoba is Jewel, Granada is top, Andalusia is pure HIKE area with 1000 miles of sand beaches. Marbella is yaht and shopping, Malaga still too big town as Seville also to rest.
