I always LIVED (and still do live) for that split second when Tony’s smithing hammer in the cave lines up with the soundtrack’s percussion

I actually really like the 1st Thor. I don't really mind the scenes on Earth even though it’s not as great as the scenes on Asgard. I also Absolutely love Loki he's my favorite mcu character. I love the Avengers movie it's my favorite mcu film and the only superhero movie I like the villain more than the heros. 😂

Great video and a pretty solid ranking. Here's my ranking from best to worst: Marvel's The Avengers (9.5/10) Iron Man (9/10) Captain America: The First Avenger (8.5/10) Thor (8/10) The Incredible Hulk (7.5/10) Iron Man 2 (7/10) To me, Thor is the best movie Marvel has ever made about the god of thunder, because throughout it took it's characters and world seriously. Yes, there is humor, but it's mainly focused on the fish-out-of-water narrative which I really like. I do wish Asgard got some more screen time and I do think that Jane, Darcy, and Sylveig could have gotten more development/personality, but overall I enjoy it as a Shakespeare play meets a grounded Marvel Universe. As for the Avengers, I do recognize that it may feel a little bit like a made for TV movie with its flat color grading and lack of cinematic black bars. However, what sets it apart is it's confidence in the story and the characters it follows, how it combines these four different worlds effortlessly, the snappy dialogue, and the fact that it breaks the tradition of every Marvel movie peaking in the first act, and then becoming less engaging in the third act. The Avengers starts off ok, with Loki being established as a threat and the team being assembled. Then the second act kicks into high gear, brining these individuals together that shouldn't be in the same room, and of course that incredible argument scene. Then the movie peaks in the third act with all these remarkable people uniting to fight a force no single one of them could withstand.
