@@turbinator70707 so far we only have deathless guilly and she’s nothing amazing but the 4 champs are suppose to have synergies together that make them a fun questing team and then you have to use them together to get deathless thanos who supposedly is going to be a meta champ. But we still are about a year away from seeing this so idk.

Kabam constantly hides differing rewards behind each game mode to pressure players to do everything. If they really didn’t want people to feel they have to do everything, they wouldn’t have so many different currencies and wouldn’t hide rewards in a game mode (like 7* Scarlet Witch is only available in top tier AW). Kabam is talking out of both sides of their mouth: you don’t have to do everything but if you don’t, you will miss out on fun exciting things.

It’s the problem of them making harder content having stacked reward’s basically pushing the gap between casual, FTP, and whales. And the gap is only gonna get larger.

I'm non-spending but I have no concerns about the grind. It is definitely becoming too grindy if you want to do everything though. I skip BGs, AW, and all the special content like WOW, Abyss, all Carrinas challenges & Deathless challenges, and all the other 'end game' content that punishes the player and can't be done without spending copious amounts of time or units.

the game is very grindy. Time mgmt is vital. I actually now complete content based on the daily solo objectives. If its the EQ object then i play TB EQ. If it's Hero use I either grind some small amount of arena or auto fight the lower EQ levels. Arena Solo is obvious and then i make sure I have someone or some relic to rank up on the solo rank up objective. I don't play Incursions. I play over two days enough BG's to get the 48hr objectives. I play boring AQ Map 6 for Glory and Season AW (glad it's now over 2 days) that's about it. I'm also not bothering with WOE and AW Showcase (they look like Bait and Switch events so suck dry your revives, HP's and units prior to Act 8.4 dropping). I'm saving up my 4hr Valiant crystals so I can hit Act 8.4 when it drops. I just trying to be prepared. Sofar doing this I have earned over 7,000 units so ok there

I play this Game since 9 Years now and i think its finally time for the first break for some Months, This Game isnt worth it to play for me at the Moment anymore -Rewards are all Trash , you can say what you want cause if you dont agree then you got Blinded by Kabam -Its not Possible to keep up as Free2Play anymore -Its getting to Challenging and to Grindy -And much more i dont want to write right now cause i dont want to spent a whole day with this Comment... Im not even miss anything if i dont play for some Months now , just Profile Pics and Monthly Exclusive Titles ... Everything i miss from this break can i easy get again when i come back And yes even the Deathless pieces can i get in future cause they will 1. Come Back 2. I'm in same boat. I have been FTP (well for most part, I remember buying some packs back in the day for a precious 4* champ haha), but now feels impossible to keep up with the grind when I have real life and better things to do (as in things that are actually fun). The game stopped being fun for me a long time ago, but I kept it up because I enjoyed playing with my alliance mates. This game just feels like a chore I don't want to do when I log in daily to try and contribute to AQ/AW. Though I have stopped grinding in arena which helps, but I still don't find anything about this game fun anymore. Once they introduced valiant, I just lost all interest. I'm Paragon and did get through one run of Necropolis, but just don't have it in me to grind anymore.

Not just FTP even for pay to play players too you know there is lot of content to be done within limited time like alliance war side quest, ccp(NGL the time given is always appreciated), still there is no revive farm which leads to unit farming and doing boring daily revive quest.

for me honestly, it's not a point of game being too grindy, it's game being unfair. They fine tuned AI so you to spend as many resources as possible, it's not a fair play anymore. Missed parry here, going through your block there and so on. I'm well aware that they need to earn money but it feels like it went too far. It's like they are trying to squeeze the last penny out of people and completely forgot that games are supposed to be fun

I believe it has gotten too grindy. At one point, one could do a decent amount of arena (not prof hoff level) to get resources and units to be able to do the unit offers with a little bit of time in AQ/AW if not in a high tier alliance. Now we have those modes, additional monthly quests, grindy side quests, bgs, incursions, and the additional optional content like WOW, the AW solo event, the women's objectives, etc. I used to be able to balance doing some arenas (4mill basic and 12 featured) with doing one pass of monthly AQ other than cavalier and paragon, by not doing incursions at all and just doing enough bgs to get the 2-day rewards when I could. But the last couple of months I am only playing bgs a couple of times a week, barely am able to complete side quests, and can't seem to find time to make any progress in Act 8 much less on the carina challenges or women objectives. Things like the X-magic arena were a nice thought, but you had to do the fights every day rather than being able to play in on Sunday when there aren't other arenas. Side quests the last two months have felt more grindy (I ran out of time to even get all of the awards in the last one)

Its a super grindy game. But I really only do the things I want to do, I check the new events out, identify the stuff that interests me and forget the rest. Lots of unit offers are complete crap, so I save them for only the awesome offers.

The thing isn't even about doing everything it's now the insane clock that's being put on us to do it. Like sure I understand they want money but when you put the deaths pieces in something really hard with limited time we'll another hard thing is up for a limited time your overloading your players. The right thing would be to make it so you can buy every piece once unless you have it already. Yes you can do that now but only 3 pieces I'm talking about letting you buy all of them. If you want to grind great go ahead but if you're willing to just spend out right not to stress you should have the right

I think the issue is less about ftp and spenders having the right to do it. It's more that Kabam have evolved their ethos to change the game from the gameplay and interaction element being the most important part, to just buying up all the offers. And at that point it's no longer a *game* it's just a showcase for bits of code that you paid a lot for but will never own. Games should be fun. Mcoc isn't fun for most players because they aren't valued

It’s always being grindy for ftp if you are trying to keep up with the top accounts, Skill can get you far in content though. Plenty of players with staked accounts but not the skill that have paid their way there.

I’m considering stopping playing the game altogether because of the AW showcase mode they’ve introduced, there’s no actual way that Alliance War is actually that ridiculous. I have no choice but to save up units and buy the piece of Deathless King Groot that’s the showcase exploration reward.

They are adding more content thats why its feeling more grindy. The only content i dont really complete is incursions, BGs, and cav eq. There are things you will you dont have to do, but if they post a chase item in one of those modes, i will go for it. You dont have to max out everything every single month.

As an occasional spender, it is always time vs rewards calculation for me (I tend to do that in most of my life anyway). Kabam's business model has always been "you can get this FTP, but we will own your life, so why not just give us money?" There are upsides and downsides to having a bunch of things in game; you have more choice, but if you want to keep up with everyone, this game becomes your (other) spouse. Myself, since I am not enjoying the game as much as I used to, I just do what I want and skip the rest. If I fall behind, so be it. I was already unhappy, but this recent issue with the 4->5 gem and them not caring about the large number of people effected by it broke me 😥

If they just gave us more options to earn these limited items it'd be so much better. Like instead of just "Clear victory track" which isn't doable unless you have fully finished meta defined decks why not add an additional "or" challenge where you can instead do a semi-challenging mission to earn it instead, but at a later time so those who want it NOW and CAN do BGS can earn it that well but those that can't don't lose out.

The biggest problem witb this Deathless KingGroot piece being in AW showcase is the short deadline. Kabam gave us 12 days to do this (very boring/annoying) content. On top of that I can't even do 1 path at a time, bc someone at Kabam thought it would be fun to add a timer to this obnoxious piece of content. And years back I retired from AW specifically bc I couldn't feel joy playing it. And now they are "forcing" us to play AW (if we don't want to spend 5k units). Very bad move.

So thanks again, Kabam, for a very unintuitive content: I used revives and gave up in the middle of the quest bc I thought I wasn't gonna have time to explore both paths in 2 hours. Hurray!

If they continue to force FTP out, I feel like the game might die within a year.. without the bottom 90% spending for frivolous things and enjoying the REST of the majority of the game that the whales wont be bothered with, the game will have over 75% of its content rendered useless. Whales vs whales vs whales means they're gonna need to develop high end content so fast it wont be sustainable. On top of that the best part of the game in BGs will die because itll only be the same 2500 people in battlegrounds in celestial with people landing in mysterium with 15 trophies lol

Now i am again thinking to explore necro because paragon rewards suck nowadays but i don't have revives because of nerf so can anyone help me to give an idea that how much units i need to explore necropolis, i have ( max sig ascended Aegon, 7* r2 shuri, r5 kate etc.) in my first run i spend around 80-90 revives and 0 units. so for 5 remaining paths how much units gonna be sufficient.

Getting the deals from the 3 top EQ cost you 3k unit, that was enough for me for 2-2,5 paths. The energy refill you get you can use to farm 20% revives from back issues and the daily, that's more than enough to cover the safe ramp up of Aegon. So yeah, it cost me about 6K units to finish it and to do the Carina challenges connected to deathless champs. And of course I was doing the daily objectives.

You're always missing one thing to rank up. Got gold and iso? Got no cats. Got cats amd and gold? Got no iso. Want these rewards? Log in everyday to do meaningless fights to waste. The game is literally about getting players to log in everyday. The data shows if they can get you to log in everyday you're more likely to spend. So all the content is based around this and it f** king depressing.

I’m FTP and managed to 100% necropolis to become valiant, participate in the Cyber weekend and Christmas events and I always finish in GC in BG’s and milestones in arenas. Haven’t bothered with AQ or AW for years now. No regrets!

AQ is good for rewards as long as you aren’t in a grindy alliance. We just all go up one path now and get the bosses down and get it over as quick as we can. We get just over 2 k glory for very little effort not using our best champs either and can buy a few things from the store
