Sadly I have to say that this thought has occurred to many of us . As Shakespeare said "methinks the Lady doth protest too much" and this fits H's behaviour . There is a history of this in the Royal Family with his great great uncle Prince George, Duke of Kent (father of the present Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra and Prince Michael) who was alleged to have had affairs with men and women prior to his marriage to Princess Marina of Greece. However unlike these two George and Marina where genuinely happy until George was tragically killed in a plane crash while on active service during WW2 and Marina continued to be a much loved member of our Royal Family until her death in 1969. IF he is (allegedly) gay then in this day and age it would have been best to have been open and above board about it rather than go through with this farce of a marriage because the public would have been sympathetic.

Snigger----- I HAD to watch this as my maiden name is Beard! It is a Cornish name, mainly around Redruth and Camborne, there is a social association called 'The Weirdy Beardys.' I think that the late Queen would have been Ok if he had come out of the closet however when they married Prince Philip was still alive and he would have not been happy. However his father and brother would have embraced the situation. I've always thought H prefers his own sex rather than women and a lot of men I know agree. The issue isn’t H’s sexuality it’s who he married & brought into the RF. Are they both mentally ill? Probably but what they have done since leaving is inexcusable. The mistruths, lies & smears both directly & through their agents & supporters means they are undeclared enemies of the RF, the U.K. & the Commonwealth. If H had wanted to retire & live a private life with a partner (of either or indeterminate sex) I’m sure the RF would have accepted that. If he chose to come out & support LGBT good causes equally fine. Lord Ivar Mountbatten would have been a good role model for him. However that isn’t what happened. If he wanted children with his partner, that’s possible today too but not in the LoS with royal titles. It was perhaps his rivalry with his brother & jealousy of his destiny that lead to this even if not intentionally. You only had to see the late Queen’s face at the wedding to know something was seriously wrong. It wasn’t just MM although she’s certainly been a enabler & catalyst for all that’s happened since. A remote castle or island may have been an option for them in the past but today? The longer this goes on the worse it will be. Maybe only the full truth - all of it will finally deal with them once they are fully exposed. I doubt TK has the stomach for that & so his throne totters despite his best efforts & the otter dutiful working royals. Action must be taken - but what?!
