Is Metaltech Safeclimb scaffolding safe. Why did I buy two?

I like the ratchet stap idea...I plan to use a extension ladder to get on mine as well as the out riggers

I have the 3 tier unit with the larger outriggers and the hand rail and I feel very safe working on it.

Why don't they use cross members instead of the horizontal side supports ?

your safety officer would give you trouble not for using a product that is very widely used across the construction industry but for not reading the user manual and installing the safety pins.

You need to add extra safety features if you are going to stack them. Even then its sketchy.
