It’s somewhat repetitive with a melodic chorus. Yes, it’s of a genre that never truly took off in the mainstream, but it has all the makings of a reusable song for the internet to grasp on to. Makes perfect sense.

Their self-titled album is also pretty great. Even Fantano didn't like that one LOL. To be fair, it takes a bit of time to grow on you, but it's worth it. Especially with tracks like Alien Days and Cool Song No. 2!

MGMT played Just like Heaven in May, which had two stages and they were playing opposite M83, and while i would have loved to seen the later band, I've been a fan of Managment since college so my friend and I chose to go to their stage. Towards the end of their set, they didnt play "Little Dark Age," so I figured theyd close with it. They stopped just short of playing that song as a closer and cut from the stage just as M83 started playing their closer: "Midnight City" which gave everyone the chance yo run across the ground to hear likely the one song from the other stage band that everyone knew and the song i was hoping I'd get a chance to hear despite going to see MGMT. I have to say, thats an incredibly classy and pretty awesome move from a great band.
