I had to configure 2 Mikrotik so far. Not for beginners at all in my opinion, just for people that need very advanced features, load balancing, funny configurations that are not available on other routers. It has so many functions, it's very easy to configure it wrong.

Better any TP-LINK or ASUS, no MIKROTIK. Mikrotik is too hardest, for beginner users.
