You do not talk about the Elim, nor the 12 wells of water or the 70 palm trees, we see no wells or palm trees there. Exodus 15: 27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters. And Moses' father-in-law lived in Midian and there is no Midian in Egypt. Midian is in Saudi Arabia. Moses dwelt in Midian until God spoke to him from the burning bush, to go back to Egypt and bring His people out Egypt. Exodus 2:15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. Doesn't Anati believe the Exodus is all a myth? If so, then how does he reconcile this with then saying this is the site of Moses meeting with God, as this is central to the Exodus account? I am unconvinced by the rock 'art'. How could it last this long in the harsh environment of that desert? Don't get me wrong, I would love for it to be real, but what I want is not important. The mount that the Lord appeared to Moses was the 'Mount of God' for that time period, after that it goes back to being just another mount. I believe this is why we can't say categorically which site is the actual Mt Sinai of the Exodus account but it is intriguing to hear someone's thoughts on this though.

The cool crater/mountain plateau, (Har Karkom) was certainly the final place of reflection for Joshua and the Children of Israel, before entering the "promised Land" proper. Hence, yes, the Israelites were here! "The glory" (craft?) would have been last viewed here as well. It's clear the Biblical Mount Sinai and Horeb, is where the Apostle Paul and ALL the archaeological evidence exists = on the Arabian Peninsula; Jabal al Lawz / Jabal Maqla. The Quran is a worthless documebt for identifying anything. Mohammed deliberately changed the details of the stories because he claimed (without evidence) that the Jews and Christians had corrupted the stories. In contrast, Moses was actually at Mount Sinai, as was Elijah and Paul. Misidentifying the location would have done nothing but discredit their credibility. All the Binle accounts agree on the details they include. I'll stick with their descriptions over those of someone with no history on the spot and a tendency to exaggerate.

@James Daniel- There is no evidence that the quran was actually written from the words of Mohammad, there have been many changes to the quran and hadith over the centuries, but I agree, I'll take the word of the Bible over the quran. Fact is that the true mount Sanai is in Saudi Arabia as mentioned in the Bible, and the Saudis know this, but for obvious reasons they are covering it up.

​ michelle dessert thank you for your suggestion, but... there is the cave, too the path is the best there are a lot of others things, like a stone divided in 10 parts and a snake near a stick but for me the most important aspect is that that site was religious long before Moses so, according to the ancient stories, both real or not, God decided to reveal his law in a place in which the gods have been prayied i have read and listened the YT videos about the place you speak about it's interesting, but karkom is completely fit to that pourpose if you have enough time try to read all that you can find about this mountain, is very intriguing
