They rolled out a lot of characters in the first few months and it didn't stop the decline, I think stages and modes are more of a problem. Although it's weird that we haven't had a single new character since October.

A decent video, but there does seem to be a bit of misinformation here. Items ARE in the game. They're in both the FFA and Silly Queue modes.
