Is MVP Baseball 2004 Still GOOD in 2023?

Dam this was my first baseball game, man I come from great era of sports games and sports players across all main American sports basically from 91-2014 very memorable players throughout all sports, maybe I don’t watch much sports anymore but I feel like that was a great era, especially baseball we can name so many great players

It's not just the nostalgia talking, but sports games were better back in the day. Mainly due to competition from many studios making multiple, baseball, football, basketball, etc. games. Nowadays only one studio makes a game for a particular sport, which does not help innovation in any way.

​@bcgaming_ Absolutely. The mlb roster in 2003 was loaded with older legends (Bonds,Ramirez,Pedro,Clemens,Randy) and young future legends (Miggy, Pujols, Halladay) etc etc. Gameplay is more fun than the show too

Because of 05 I only played 04 for a year. If they stopped at 04 this would be up there for one of the best games ever. I now want to play this again and take a break from 05.

MVP 2004 is way better than 2005 they took all of the run production out of 2005 where virtually every game goes into extra innings and ends either 1-0 or 2-1

Couldn't update goes in 2004 as is normal 2day. My cousin still managed to beat me with a walk-off hr by John Olerud that I knew wouldn't be possible 😮
