EA didn't say there wouldn't be ANY microtransactions, they said it wouldn't be the main focus or too invasive. The game will still have ultimate team just like ncaa 14 did.

It's EA, so it's going to suck. Madden has been unplayable for years. Unfortunately expect the same from this game.

Also EA has literally come out and said there releasing more news the 16th of may so the whole no gameplay or news thing is dumb since when we got the teaser trailer it said may full reveal

Micro transactions aren’t inherently bad the game will have them in ultimate team but that’s it if you don’t play that mode idk how that’s a negative I see people crying about that all the time like most people are play dynasty what maybe they have a uniform pack and recruiting advisor both things you never have needed so that’s not a negative

​@user-tb9cl2my6i the problem is that we've seen companies who do micro transactions, especially EA, see the 10% of the 'whales' spending money on micro transactions and cater the game to them exclusively, I.E. updates for UT. While at the same time neglecting game modes that a majority of the fanbase enjoys playing just because we're seen as 1-time buyers. Franchise mode or Career mode being copy/paste for multiple years of the Madden franchise.

@@ZachFL majority of the madden fan base plays MUT majority of NCAA players play dynasty madden is more for the comp/swears NCAA is more casual friendly and franchise focused
