I live in a 173 year old house, and it's full of spirits. A home security camera thats motion activated will pick them up talking about you or to you , while you're just walking around the house . You don't have to ask them anything or talk to them. They are full of opinions and complaints. Lol

Our house is 93 years old and located in a city that had a civil war union prison very close by, before the civil war it was Indian land. There has been one recorded death in our house. I have always felt that something was here, but never witnessed anything until after our daughter was born. One night the baby monitor completely lit up as if it was daytime, there were no lights or anything in the room. The rocking chair we had in there would rock by itself, and once our daughter got a little older her electronic toys would go off by themselves. After doing lots of research about the previous owner (the one whom passed away in this house) we realized she was a school teacher who was windowed twice, and was never able to have children of her own. I think the birth of our daughter triggered her spirit in a good way. I feel that she is here keeping a close watchful eye on the kids. Now that our daughter is 4 weird things still happen but not nearly as much as when our daughter was a baby. I believe the spirit longed for a baby in life and helped me care for my own daughter in her afterlife.

I lived in a house with two spirits. They were friendly and came and went as they pleased. At times they would turn on the livingroom lights during the night. We could hear the front door opening or closing as the entered or left the house in the middle of the night. Our dog refused to enter our spare bedroom. She would not cross the threshold into that room. We supposed that is the room the spirits were in. This was a house in Mammoth Lakes, Calif. When my friend came to visit she said, " There are ghosts in this house, right?" I had never mentioned the situation to her!! The spirits were a male and a female, elderly and married. Don't ask me how I know this because I don't know how I know...I just know.

Now that Robert said he doesn't believe in Ghosts, & he doesn't go into the house at night, the spirits will be wanting to show him they exist. In fact, the weird things that Robert has heard in there may be their displeasure at remodeling the house( spirits hate remodeling or changing their dwelling spaces). I lived in a 100yr old Cabin for 20 years, never really believed in ghosts or thought that place was haunted..until I drove up to it after being gone a few weeks. I looked up at the curtained bedroom window. The curtain pulled aside & a WHITER than white, pale face with big, dark eyes looked right at me( I nearly peed my pants)! I put my car in reverse, and backed up the whole mile out of the valley, I was THAT scared! I made a video there about it "A haunting at Halemanu." Great investigation Robert!

My MIL passed away at home. After hubby’s parents passed, we bought the family home. I have slept in the room my MIL died in for the past 34 years. Never suspected haunting. She was strong in her Christian faith, so why would she want to hang around here? I figure she went on to her reward, bless her.

My old house is haunted. The only death that occurred here was my husband and it was haunted before that. I have a cordial relationship with whoever it is, as long as he doesn't scare me(which he used to do quite often) I have no objection to his staying here. I find it kind of comforting that others over the years loved this place as much as I do.

Paranormal investigations are so much fun. Typically, houses that old will have either an intelligent haunt depending on history or a residual haunt. The lady shadow figure picking a book from the book shelf was probably a residual. Some people who do this, theorize that when actual orbs are around, they also set off the emf meters. I'm happy y'all are also making sure you're being transparent with the k2. Some stuff isn't visible in IR even in the paranormal stuff. When you do an evp session, you should give plenty of time between questions. Sometimes ghosts don't have enough energy at first to answer. They have to build up.

Y'all might not believe it but I knew that place was haunted a few years ago just from watching videos. I wanted to ask a few times who he thinks haunts it but I thought it might be rude since it's a family place some folks take offense. I actually lived in another family's original homeplace once for over a year. Haunted as all get out. They didn't tell me when I moved in. The wife stopped by one day and sat with me in the porch swing. She asked if I had "things happen" in the house. Said she wanted to warn me because they believed the husband got possessed by something bad while they lived there. Nothing bad happened to us. Just a few small things would move or fall. Wonderful smells in a empty kitchen of someone cooking bacon every morning.

We have a 200 year old farm and my husband kept seeing someone in the oldest part of the house out of the corner of his eye. That's how they appear, not a full on sighting. This man had a civil war uniform and a big white beard. a few years later i got every deed to this property and subsequently looked up every family that lived here on Ancestry to put with the deeds. One of the family trees had a picture of that man. I showed it to my husband and asked if he recognized him at all, not telling him anything. He said it was the man he sees out of the corner of his eye walking across the dining room. Then i told him it was the man who lived here back then. So it is true that occasionally there will be visitors. They are not harmful to you. Another thing is sounds.....every word spoken inside walls will continue to reverberate forever.

Was there a house or cabin on the lot before? Have you consulted a psychic? I have talked to several and they suggest that several people have been here, but they don't always stay. The main person who is here most of the time was a previous owner. He is a comforting presence. My late husband( who died here) and my late sister have been here also. If you ever decide to "serious up", Willy Byrd is the spirit to seek out. It was a dark and warm mid-shift at Little Rock Air Force Base that September of 1969. I was a bomber alert sentry on post with several other SPs (Security Police). We were congregated at the edges of our posts talking and joking. A sudden cold breeze shot past us. As if on cue, we all turned to look up the taxiway. We all saw a full-body apparition of a woman in Civil War-era dress. She disappeared into the dark between two bombers. When my family and first moved into our house odd things happened all the time. But I wasn't afraid and subsequently neither were the girls. When Miss Frost (the lady who had the house built in the fifties) sa that we weren't afraid she either gave up and moved on or saw that her house had kids in it at last ( she was a teacher and a maiden lady) and moved on. The elderly neighbor lady had been one of her students.

I wasn't a believer until I was at this church watching my sister and two other ladies looking into the glass front doors of the church. At the same time they all turned away and said the same thing. "did you see that". All seen, and told the same thing they seen a lady walk across the front of the alter and bow and disappear. How would they not have seen something with that reaction. That same church there was a big thing about seeing Jesus on the outside of the church. So a bunch of us went to see it. After we were all saying we could see it. We went home and drew out what we seen. It was the same picture. I even sent the newspaper to my brother in Florida, he could see it in the picture. We had him draw what he seen and he sent it to us. He was seeing the same thing. After that I've been a believer.

It lit up the first time y’all asked if Willie byrd died there! I live in a house with a ghost out here in seale Alabama! There’s also a soldier on our property! And I had a recording of a ghost at a friends house I house and dog sit for in Columbus! I asked it’s name and it said Robert plain as day.!

At time frame 46:26 hey static started that is loud and interferes with us being able to hear you both. You don’t seem to hear it, but it’s on the recording. It’s very odd and peculiar.

It is the most annoying sound. It’s like a static on a radio station which cuts out a little bit. It’s almost like you can hear voices doesn’t anybody else hear this this is very odd but then I live in a very old house, built in 1918
