Of course the girl working out of her home is 10x more professional than half the salons you go to! She's hustling. Very quick, neat and polite. She could have talked to you more during the look but I assume she went over the eye look prior to starting. I love it!

Clean brushes, clean sponge!!! Clean hands, okay application, the party-assignment fits & she even asked you about your skin, she had extra brushes for each product, she was delicate with your face... 😮 Are we in the Twilight Zone? P.S: I prefer you with a more natural look as well. But you can pull off a party look too. It was heavy eye make up, which we don't wear everyday.

The makeup artist did an amazing job, she blended the eye shadow perfectly by far the best you have had done, you have had some very loud colours on your eyes in the past obviously some of the MUA's you go to you have made out your going to an event etc. I feel if you were wearing this make up to an event/ night out and your hair was done and a lovely dress to compliment your make up you would feel better in yourself. You are beautiful without makeup ❤

I think it might be the undertones for the base is off for you and too pink and washing you out. Then the very blue cool toned eye and the lashes I personally would want a more natural lash. I think it's not bad , but undertone wise is not ideal for your skin tone.

Its nice makeup and Youre a very pretty girl, but please dont take it a wrong way if i tell you Blonde hair isnt suitable for you. It looks as if you have a wig on because of how dark (almost black) your roots are. Its not a very pretty look. But, its of course your choice, personally i think youd look gorgeous with a darker hair. all best

I think its the combination of the bold eye with big eyelashes and not being used to that much makeup. Also the face coloring is a tiny bit lacking for how BOLD the eye is. but all in all it still looks GREAt. Im just nitpicking as to what you might not be liking. i think it would have be PERFECT with another color like mauve instead of that teal. The teal and black is a lot.

I was actually thinking your complexion looks amazing today. Before and after the makeup. I do agree about heavy makeup on some though. It definitly isnt for me. I prefer a more natural look with browns and golds and pinks for myself. I have a small face and the dark eye and lip is just overhwelming for me. It is very beautiful makeup though :)

Your face is definitely NOT the problem! However, I do think some people with certain skin tones look better with certain colours (like we might look better in certain coloured clothes or hair colour, etc.) I think the MUA did a great job. I think if it was a little more toned down, ie with shorter less full eyelashes and the lips not over lined, it would look excellent. It would be great to see a "natural" look on you next time. The make up artist is very talented. My issue is the couture color is warm. You needed a cool tone as well as the blusher. Why your shadows are more on the cool tone side. Your cheek color was fighting the eyeshadow. Same with her choice of lip liner and lip stick. They clashed for me. It is not your face shape at all. It is making sure to stay in the same color tones.

You are gorgeous❣️- jmo but the initial black application was the greatest mistake - the tape was too low and the black did not uplift the eye but instead dragged it down. Also too much blue on the lower inner lid did nothing but create the illusion of bags. She tried to correct the black with a cotton tip but by then the whole shape was wrong. You can wear this look beautifully - just needed restart and better positioning, also feel like eyeliner would have helped.

It is actually stunning. Yes the eyes are bold but it looks awesome. You're right it is blended well. Her work space was clean and her equipment was also. The thing You're feeling weird about is your cheekbones were not defined or highlighted. That made feel like only your eyes were popping.

Your face is not the problem. You have a lovely face. Makeup artists have two things to master: technique and artistry. Technique can be taught pretty easily. However, artistry is more complex. Artistry requires some amount of intuition and art theory knowledge. Colour theory and understanding facial proportions can be learned, but putting it in practice requires intuition and experience. People’s eyes are different and how their eyes, noses, cheeks, and lips go in harmony with their faces is very important to understand. You can’t do the same thing on everyone and expect the same results. You must tailor the style to each unique face. You can’t give everyone the same contour, cut crease, or eye liner. For example, overlined lips don’t look good on everybody. Some people actually look better with thin lips. This is why I’m against makeup/cosmetic trends. Our faces are unique and you must use the application that suits your face, not try to force your face to match a trend. The problem is that this artist didn’t pay attention to your face and she put your face out of harmony. This is why you’re feeling disconcerted after seeing the final result.

It's not your face. The eyeliner placement makes your eyes look droopy. She should have lifted the outer corner of the liner/shadow to create lift. The colors are too garish and the lashes are too intense, so are the brows. The lip color is all wrong. Just my opinion.
