The only problem with the shift interrupt, as the Lectric XPremium had that as it was mid-drive you have to downshift before your hills or you just kill your power going up.

Yes, thats what I hear about mids. More shifting like a manual transmission vehicle.

I would buy step through all the time as I am 64 years old, so my leg over is not fun but the stability of that extra top bar as what makes me continue to buy the high steps. I bought the Magicycle Deer step through 26 inch I had a lot of problems with that bike. I’ve since sold it. I love my Juiced Ripcurrent but the company gives us no respect they won’t even give me an affiliate link they want 20,000 subscribers. I have the same problem with my neck if the handlebars are too low. I end up, changing the bars and the riser. I’m pretty much all my bikes. Lectric is having two events that week. Are you in the first one or the second one because I’m flying in Sunday and leaving Wednesday the second one starts Wednesday till Friday

For the budget minded, I just bought a Tesway Comet 1000wpk/150nm mid-drive class 3 cruiser. When I bought it, it was $799+$200 shipping so $1000, which is great for a mid-drive. I bought the high bar but they have a step through as well. But as Amazon does quite often, the price has gone up to $899 to $950 depending on model and color and still $200 shipping. Even at $1150 total, that's still a good buy. So far I love it. The only downside is that It fits more like an extra large frame. I have a 31" inseam, I usually fit best with Medium to Large sized frames. On this bike, my stuff sits on the frame when I straddle the bike sitting still. That wouldn't be a problem with the step through.

I really like the Lectric Xpress with the 750 watt motor but like you, I like the 4" fat tires on my Xpeak.. I have made it my own now. The Xpress does have The swept back handlebars and an adjustable stem. That is appealing to me. I have had such a great experience with Lectric as a company as well. I can't say enough good about them. Great video again.

Thank you, and I have to agree. Lectric has been great to work with and want there customers to have a great experience.

Not a fat-tire, but try Euphree, either the Stellar Falcon or City Robin X+. Both are very well built, have very nice specs, are, technically, full-suspension and LOOK very nice. The City Robin X+ is more of a strand-type cruiser with the Dutch-style handlebars swept back, and it is such a comfortable ride with good torque, long range and is punchy fast. With either, you can choose either cadence or torque. With the Stellar Falcon, it is still straight-up (both have adjustable stems) and is built to be either a cruiser or off-road (I'd argue you could do harder trails on the Stellar Falcon than the XPeak, which I do like, too). It has 90nm of torque, 120mm front fork travel and, while it says top speed of 28, it actually, like the Velotric Summit 1 & Discover 2, gets up to 31 mph.

I just sold off a bunch of bikes. I had to make room for some new ones coming. I was lucky I had a guy buy my bikes bulk and cash. No fuss
@theridewithlance3 ай бұрын
That's was good. Sell them all at once to one person.

Hey from over the pond,I also had the 6 plus I love it but there are so many more powerful ones available now,not that I'm into speed but I live in a hilly village and In the UK the rad 6 plus is restricted to 250w so hills are hard work and I'm 250 lbs like you but I think I'm few years younger at 52,but I also have the rack and a big bag on the back and that leg swing is high lol.I'm also looking at a step through,Louise my wife has a rad step through like katrina.how do you rate the himiway as we can get that in the UK.there are plenty more in the UK but not as many fat tyres which I also want to stick with,I've looked at the engwe E26 that's a bit of a beast unlocked great torque and speed. But I do love my rad to be fair your the reason I bought it ,I think I watched your four nearly a year before I decided,love your content thanks buddy 👍

Himiway makes a quality product. I have the first edition Zebra and it has plenty of power. Motor is a little louder then most and the cadence sensor kicks in pretty hard. It is a heavy bike, but solid build. The new ones I believe have a torqe sensor, and you can get one with a mid-drive. Rad makes a great product, but for me, its just time for a change
