Carbonara, I make the noodles leave the water to the side, melt tbs butter add some cream and don’t tell the Italians! 😅 then add a white cheese of your choice the sauce packet then you can add the entire spicy packet. Noodles back and add noodle water back until desired consistency. soft boil an egg and have almost no spice left in your mouth❤❤❤ try it and tag me!👩🏻🍳

As a typical euro-transplant American, I can honestly admit that I can't handle all that spice. I use about 1/8th of the hot sauce lol, all the carbonara powder, some kewpie mayo and green onions, and if I'm feeling frisky, a piece of American cheese too😂😂😂 the noodles are honestly the best part for me! So delicious and different textured than other favorites!
@Mina-rf3nw5 ай бұрын
I was so fooled by people online saying that it's too spicy 😭 I believed them because I thought my spice tolerance probably isn't that much higher than all the people commenting, I added cream and cheese to the buldak noodles and there was 0 spice and the flavor was all dulled out, I was so disappointed 😂 The next time I didn't use any cream at all and it's a very soft and enjoyable spice to me, absolutely perfect I'm German btw, so I thought if even Koreans think it's too spicy I'm definitely not above them But I guess drowning every dish in half a liter of sriracha for the past 7 years paid off😂
@ImpetuousPorkus5 ай бұрын
@@Mina-rf3nwthe sriracha helped your spice tolerance a lot!!! She def has a very low spice tolerance for a Korean person. Many of her recipes contain A LOT of sugar. Like her raw marinated crab one is almost half sugar. Most Korean dishes I’ve tried are excessively sugary. It’s really Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Thai food that uses super spicy bird eye chili peppers for dishes.

I love buldak carbonara spice level. But to make it tastier i do this, so that its spicy but in a enjoyable way. For buldak carbonara noodles: Cook the noodles and keep some broth aside. Now add the sauce packet to noodles and stir. add the 3/4 cheese packet to the broth(that kept aside) + add 2tbsp of milk. Emulsify the powder in the broth- milk mix. Now add the cheese broth- milk mix to noodles sauce and stir again on a low heat. Serve it in a bowl and sprinkle the remaining cheese powder. Add a sunny side up egg and viola. It took quite few tries to master this stuff. If i don't make it in this way, oh damn it will taste wayy too spicy and won't let me enjoy all the flavours of it :( For tteokbokki, i like to cook rice cakes with half sauce and 2/4 cheese powder packet first. Then add (2tbsp milk + remaining cheese mix ) mixture to the tteokbokki mix and heat for 1 min/2 mins. It tastes wayyy better than cooking all together. Trust me 🙏
