On your recommendation my buddy and I rode this last week. We had to be in Tucson for a day so we got two shots at this ride one on the way down and then again on the way back. You are so right, this ride was amazing. We followed your instructions but stayed on National all the way. We cleaned a lot of it and got to session the waterfall a bit. We made that section clean on the way back down but it would take a long time to make it clean going up. Thanks for video blogging this. Without it I would have never experienced this fantastic trail.

Love hearing that Erik. It's one of the reasons I started the channel. I usually make National Trail part of my Sedona trip coming from SOCal since it's on the way if I take the southern route. Glad you guys had such a blast and kudos for sessioning the waterfall!

My ride every Sunday, though I turn around at the Saddle. It is June so regulars try to start close to sunrise. The monsoons start in July so it can be sticky all the way into September. Doesn't stop us though. Park gate opens at 5 AM though you can park offsite and still ride in. A few night ride and can see a few critters. During the day might see coyote(s) every 5th ride. Rattle snake about every 20 rides. Takes a little over 2 hours - if not jaw boning much.

Whyd u switch to maxxis tires? Do you like them more than the e13's?
@TheOutsiderMTB6 жыл бұрын
I do. The ethirteen's that came stock on my Jeffsy were pretty soft and nobby for the dry conditions we see here out west mostly. It could have been just those specific tires, but the Agressor and Minion are riding great.

How did you get away with copyrighted music in the beginning of your video?
@TheOutsiderMTB4 жыл бұрын
Before the channel was monetized the record company just puts ads up on their end and takes the revenue. You can usually post any song the dollars just go to them.
@DIRECTORofFILMS4 жыл бұрын
@@TheOutsiderMTB That's cool, and not cool all at the same time. I had some old video's that KZbin just muted the music and (if I remember correctly) didn't give me a choice, but I never had enough views to monetize, so there's that.
@TheOutsiderMTB4 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the record company. Some mute and some take revenue. Doesn’t matter if you can monetize or not. If it’s copyrighted they get the revenue. This is why I don’t use tracks like that anymore.
@TheOutsiderMTB4 жыл бұрын
@@DIRECTORofFILMS Doesn't matter if you can monetize or not if the music is copyrighted. i just use to not care. It all depends on the record company - some take revenue and some just mute it and don't allow it.

Bro hit the rock roller just before the waterfall and stay left there through the waterfall there is a super smooth transition section that shoots you right down it. Going right as shown is too janky no flow

Waterfalls isn't really that hard you start up the right side go up a little weight crossover and you'll see how you have to kind of wall ride and you up been climbing that since I was a little kid went like a year ago haven't been there for 10 years before that made it on the first try there was a guy sitting there 45 minutes trying to make it you couldn't believe it neither could the people are riding with I was borrowing one of their bikes and it was still the same route took in since I was a kid used to ride down in on a BMX
