People are more of a possible threat to them than other animals. I say this from my own cat getting outside and being abused by a grown man. I would never let another one be free roaming. Some people take their cats for walks or have catios if not a balcony that is safe for them to be on.

You can walk them on a leash, it sounds dumb and impossible but they’ll get used to it and be able to explore outside safely.

Youre doing the right thing by keeping them inside! There are TONS of bird and rodent spieces that have gone EXTINCT because of people letting their cats out. Not to mention cat-napping, or getting hit by cars. You could always get them a leash and take them for walks, or tether their leash to something in your backyard and let them hangout supervised. Or there are zip-up cat tents that will keep them secure but also allow them to enjoy the outside! 😊 my sister lost her cat because my family kept letting it outside. One day she didnt come back. Thats just what happens with outdoor cats, sadly 😔

My sister’s cat is the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet. She loves humans and she loves to be petted. However, if you bring any other animal around her, she will try to kill it. That’s how cats work. Just because they are sweet to you, doesn’t mean they are sweet to everything.

We have 4 inside only cats and a rescue cat in the garage. We've had him neutered, but he still won't socialize with inside cats. He was a fighter when we took him in. Neutering helped, but its just in him to want to fight. Otherwise, he's a very sweet and loving cat. He's definitely not trust worthy around other animals. He attacked and bit my little dog bad not long after we took him in.

My neighbor had a black cat with a white paw. It was running around on roofs, fighting with other animals, pissing all over the place. Seeing the neighbor outside with his cat lying in the sun on the driveway, I asked him about keeping his cat inside. Him: "That's not my cat." He went inside to get his cat. The feral cat had a right front white paw. The neighbor's cat, identical to the feral in every other way, had a left front white paw.

Judge Judy points out the plaintiff found her because another neighbor complained about issues he/she had with the same cat. So her denying it shows she's denying everything and thinking it can't be challenged.

My problem w/her already is, “everyone knows him he sits on their patio furniture”. If you know that your cat is on other people’s property getting on their furniture and shit do something about it. My husband and I and our girls are allergic, I’d be pissed of my neighbors just let their cat come on my property. Plus they piss all over and it stinks. Take care of your pets or your pets will be taken care of by animal control.

I had a cat who was VERY territorial. No other cat or dog would be sent packing! Even very large dogs quickly learned to stay out of our yard . Dog fur would fly thick in the air! Our cat never got a Scratch 🤪 Everywhere else in our neighborhood he was chill.

Cats are predators by nature, it's in their nature. I owned a cat that attacked dogs regardless their size and inflicted damage. The city urged me to harness him when he was outdoors. Their animals for crying out loud, their super fast and can be jerks at times, so be it.

I have 3 cats. All indoors. I do not believe in letting my cats outside. They have an indoor patio to roam and they are happy there. I have a ton of neighbor's cats that come onto my property, they aren't fixed and they have kittens. I have rescued many litters of kittens from my neighbors and I am a strong advocate to leaving your cat indoors. Anyone who lets their cats out in my opinion is an irresponsible pet owner. Just my take.

Cats are ONLY domesticated, not trained. You can't predict what a cat will and won't do as they are very in tuned with their instincts. I knew she lost when she said it would never attack anyone's animals.

I had an experience like this with my vert docile and timid Beagle. A neighborhood in which I walk has a big tom cat at a particular house. Very aggressive and very territorial and followed us for almost a block one day. . Once I learned that, I didn't go by that house anymore, I am sure it is a very nice cat but definietely doesn't like intruders in his area.

Cats, and dogs too, are predators, dogs are more social predators that attack in group, a group that sometimes includes their owners, cats are more solitary. I love my cat, I personally have seen him attack a grown woman ten times his size, I am completely sure he will attack a dog twice his size, if he fills compeled.

because it is. They shit and piss on other people's property (and cat piss is extremely acidic, it will kill whatever plant they piss on). My neighbor's cat broke a pool we had, they kill birds, and they may attack other animals. Plus for their own safety, as other animals can attack them, or people or they might get run over by a vehicle. It's a new world we live in. Adapt and learn.

We had a neighbor who thought it was ok to allow her two cats to run the neighborhood. Only problem was they used our backyard as their personal poop/pee toilet. They dug up flowerbeds, my garden, our patio furniture as their personal scratching posts/beds. It smelled so bad in our backyard we could no longer use it. And the kicker is im severely allergic to these nasty creatures, I was taken to the hospital because of it. We had begged her to keep them in her yard in a kennel if they just needed to be outside. The police talked to her and she would keep them inside for a week only for it to start over. Then they got traps and brought them over and said to trap them and they'd pick them up. We called the next day and she was ticked. First time picking them up was a free one after that each time went up in cost for her. She finally kept them inside after the 4th time and forking over 120 bucks she paid she kept them inside. People with cats seem to think everyone just loves them.

I’ve posted on our Facebook site my neighborhood And nobody has came forward and said that it’s their cat or anything which I know it’s somebody’s cat and cats roaming around cause people issues like them destroying my property, destroying my neighbors property, destroying my neighbors across the street other people in the neighborhood and I don’t get why cat owners don’t think about that either when it’s coming out of our own pockets when their cats are destroying our stuff and then also cats get ran over all the time every day when I go to work I see a dead cat on the road that got hit by a car literally cats jump into other peoples backyards and their dogs get them there’s toxic plants that are toxic for cats that grow in every day lawns and then they eat it and get really sick and possibly die statistics actually that 85% of indoor/outdoor cats or pearly outdoor cats will not reach to the age of eight years old. That’s very very sad, and actually a lot of the 50 states in America have leash laws for cats
