I have the Pro and after owning it for almost a year it's still so much damn fun to ride. The acceleration and torque never get old. I know he said the GTR will smoke the Pro off the line, but the pro's still insanely fast.

Very true. Pretty sure it's faster than the InMotion RS, which also cost $4k, but I can't test that until next week. Just because one scooter is faster than another , doesn't mean they both aren't stupid fast.

The grr has motors hooked to the one controller. If the controller craps out your walking home. The gt pro however does not. So when one motor craps out you can still limp home.

LOVE The video greet comparison, after I’ve gotten a few months on my GTR I have to say it’s the king of off-roading specially on the rocky un-even bumpy muddy mountains of Canada, it Conquers all, the only gripe I have with it is the new battery connector, I’d of actually preferred the dongle instead of the fixed as mine you have to stomp on it lock the battery back in place which I worry could damage it somehow, oh well

I bought a brand new one yesterday, and it came with a 35 ah battery but still with the wire plug. It also had a thumb throttle with disgusting dead zone wich I took off right away and replaced with a trigger. I wish the mud guard would actually do something, especially the front one. Overall great beast.

Suspension I fixed myself by buying the upgraded L33F 3D Suspension bushing (: it’s 3x better than the stock. My front I empty the oils and replaced it with thicker oil, now my scooter rides a lot smoother, if kaabo ever came out with a better controller 120v I would buy it in a heart beat and get someone to build me a custom battery, I know the 2000w motors can handle it 🙏🏽

The front suspension is hermetically sealed so putting in new oil would do nothing.

how is the handle for the swappable battery under your foot? i would imagine it gets uncomfortable to ride with it like that. i wish they would come up with better integration. why not spring or hydraulic actuated and the handle is under the lip? maybe next time

Do u soak your tires in warm water before changing when u dont have a split motor? If not then try it. Makes the tire softer and easier to force over the rim. Id love a high performance scooter like this but my budget just wont go that far. All i can afford is something like a kukirin g3 pro. Great video 👍

The rotors are 160mm diameter and 3mm thick I believe. I honestly haven't felt the need to upgrade them since my stock brakes work fine. I have seen an adapter to allow for Magura calipers to be put on, but I don't have a link. I saw it in a wolf warrior Facebook group.

For kaabo to better the gt pro it will have to be a whole new scooter with much much more new tech which will send the price touching the sky as the gt pro/gtr are ridiculously expensive.

Try the gt pro...you will be shocked longer range, better battery the controller's are independent....so if one fails you can still get back home. The thumb throttle dead zone is a safety thing...no accidentally pushing on it and the scooter zooms off...as there is a lot of power just waiting to go.

I'm wondering if you've heard of any other brands (hopefully Kaabo) adopting the new prismatic/blade batteries. I'd like a new scooter but the only brand using them is Teverun right now and I'm happy to wait a bit if it's just a matter of time. But between the greater energy density, the lack of temperature impact and the insane safety of the blade batteries I will wait if I have to.

I think you'll have to wait before you can find any other options. I'm steering clear of them for now just because of the price and lack of availability. I also haven't read anything about their ability to sustain high discharge rates. They do seem good on paper, it'll be interesting to see how the market adopts this new technology in the coming years.

Hey Ginger, you mentioned the handlebars are shorter for offroading. Im 6'2, i wont be doing any offroading. Im thinking those bars are going to be too short for my tall a$$... Are they adjustable? Can they be raised to accomodate my freakishly tall frame?

They make a one or two inch stem riser for the bars. But it's expensive cuz it's got to be custom made. I think they're like 80 bucks for a little bracket extender.

Traction control is new tech? Doesn’t the pro have speed sensors? Both the front and rear motors have the same harness. Seems like an update in software could implement traction control on the pro.

The pro has two separate controllers. No traction control, VERY easy to burn the front tire in dual mode.

Hey, Boss, is the Wolf GTR pretty much it for off roading? I currently have a D6+ and its awesome but I really want more power for doing hills and jumps out in the desert. I like the bigger battery of the inmotion rs but if it can't offroad as well then I don't know. Probably 75% of my riding is on dirt trails and open desert. If you have any thoughts on that I'd like to hear them. Thanks.

You sound like the person the GTR was built for. The GTR does so much better off-road than the RS It's not even worth comparing. It's definitely ready for off-roading out of the box and is probably the best off-road scooter I've ever ridden.

If you live near a trade school that has a machinist’s course, you can get it for free. Actually maybe curved slots instead of drilled bolt pattern; you could use it for different wheels….just use through bolts with washers and nuts THEN.. you could sell em online👍

when you said "if you have the right of way, then go." the rules an be bent for purpose of inertia. with a scooter is so easy to stop, a scooter rider doesn't mind stopping for a pedestrian. But cars have more inertia so a lot of times its smoother to let the car go first. likewise with bikes so they don't have to dismount and skateboard so they can maintain hard earned inertia. I'm just saying as a pedestrian crossing in residential sort of areas I try to wave vehicles/riders with inertia through. that dude probably thought you needed the inertia but you don't because scooters are daddy.

Up until the GTR all we've had is the motor attached to the scooter with a tubeless tire on it. Definitely really hard to get on and off but with the GTR we have a design that allows us to take the wheel off the scooter completely and work on it in a separate area. Makes it a lot easier. It would be cool to have split rims but then we wouldn't be able to have tubeless tires. I'm hoping we get something like they have on the roadrunner Pro right now which is a split rim with tubeless tires. But they had to redesign the rim to get that. I can't see Kaabo doing that for a couple years unless there's a ton of pressure on them to do it.
