Bad ppl will exist whether you're okay with that or not. Cause it always starts at home, you can't fully control the outside world, but you have full control what goes on in your household and how you raise your kid. My only reply to any of these comments, is that A. My Original comment made no mention of Jeffery on purpose, it was directed towards Marcus and his general improvements at articulating his opinions. B. Jeffery is a creep but not a pedo. I’ve seen multiple comment dance around this. Not a convicted nor accused pedophile. Meanwhile there’s KZbinrs out there right now fully monetized, having committed sexually deviant crimes. Focus on criminals committing crimes if that’s what you all are into. Don’t place blame on us for defending what is a fully innocent person in the eyes of the law, as it stands. Things change, stuff comes out. As a person who’s grown up and dealt with many pedos, marsh is a giant walking red flag. If it walks and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck. Sometimes in order to keep children and the most vulnerable safe, you have to make assessments about things. That’s the whole point of being an adult and keeping children safe. As a child my own mother saw a grown old man who acted like marsh and thought it would be fine to let them babysit her 8 year old daughter. That was a terrible idea and it started a world of trouble for me. I won’t make that mistake. I see a person around my children who acts like marsh, I’m jumpin straight to conclusions and getting my babies away to safety. I think most parents can agree with me when they watch marsh. We don’t pull these feeling out of no where. It’s built into us so we can survive and help our offspring survive. Just my opinion.

As a psychologist I find Jeffrey Marsh’s behaviour concerning. It is inappropriate to “talk to children” on subjects you are a layman in, while simultaneously pretending to be an authority on that subject. It is inappropriate to encourage anyone adult or child to “go no contact” if you are not a qualified professional, that’s what cults do to recruit vulnerable individuals/followers. Jeffrey’s passive aggressive behaviour is difficult to watch as is the love bombing he does frequently. Lastly, I question Jeffrey’s motivates as far as I’ve been able to find Jeffrey’s qualifications are in the performing arts & not in the any of the subjects he covered on his platforms. As someone once said to me “just because you have a set of teeth it doesn’t make you a dentist” when referring to someone like Jeffrey.

What some of them (that come off as creepy) are lacking is self reflection. It’s possible that they can’t understand what it looks like they are doing. However it is still true that calling him a pdf file is baseless, and indeed we need to change that from being a common occurrence, there are many who accuse people of that because they have a mustache or are bald. Let that sink in, lol. Clearly this is a societal and internet culture problem. I’ll say this also, the other T influencer, lily or whatever it is, (the one whom posts videos of themself eating at restaurants and being misgendered) does the exact same thing. I think the main difference between the actions of a pdf file, and of a charlatan, is that they are indeed targeting children, but it isn’t for sexual gain or gratification, but for monetary gain, clout, gaining followers and in order to convert or sway them in a culture sense. You have to understand the nuance in language to not make simple mistakes in regards to accusations. It’s likely that individuals like Mike vs. the world, and libs of TikTok are not the most intellectual or emotionally mature people we would hope for, even though I personally support their cause in principle and essence. It’s also painfully obvious that influencers on both sides of this topic are not good at public relations. Influencers like Jeffrey, Lily, Mike vs the world, and libs of TikTok should have a manager, and they should advise them on public relations, and edit their script and videos/ideas accordingly. That isn’t going to happen, though.

I was abused physically, mentally, and se*ually from the age of 6 to 25 by many different men. They all used very different tactics, and i am hyper aware of them now. There might be no evidence of him physically doing something wrong, so all i can say is this. I wouldn't go anywhere near the guy. My gut instinct is telling me to stay away so i wouldn't allow my kids anywhere near him either. No adults should be addressing kids online about anything, never mind talking about intimate topics like sex, gender, relationships, etc. The things he says and does to get a childs trust just turns my stomach. Let me ask you all this, if a 'Cis' male was doing these things, would people still defend his behaviour? Would YT allow him to keep his channel? There may be no evidence of physical wrongdoing, but from everything i have witnessed, his behaviour is still predatory. He needs to leave the kids alone!

The way you explain, your gut has been trained to look for indicators, so I'd trust it 👍🏼 Our sensory systems are implicitly trained over the years. as a person who has watched his tiktoks when i was 13-14, i'd like to say that i always thought all of his videos were for the kids because he would target the kids in *some* of his videos. so children watching his videos thought that the videos were targeted towards them, even if not stated. especially the one about "your parents screwed up", i genuinely thought it was true and as a result of multiple videos from him and other people similar to him i refused to talk to my dad and my mom very much, even though we live together. but thats just me personally, im not saying that was his intended consequence, however tiktoks from him and from people like him did have a consequence on me and probably some other impressionable children. imo it was similar to subliminal messages, i regret ever downloading tiktok. but children who had tiktok, saw his content and internalized it, whether he intended to or not. i agree that he probably never intended for children to internalize his not "for the kids" content, but he never said that the message WASN'T for the kids, so children who watched it didn't get that it wasnt for them. sorry for bad grammar i don't have a real excuse for it but its a youtube comment sooo thats my excuse. i dont think there should be any consequences for being a groomer without any proof, however he shouldve made a separate account for his 'not for kids' content so that children who watched him could better understand that the content wasnt for them, because i was too stupid to separate the posts when they were all on the same account (not to mention all looked the same anyways) so maybe some other children were also too stupid too.

I agree with you that unsubstantiated accusations are wrong. But while there is no evidence of inappropriate physical contact or trafficking in CP, based on the content of his videos he is indisputably seeking out and grooming children in a lifestyle recruitment effort. If he wasn’t so child-oriented, I would have far less revulsion to his presence on KZbin. I have listened to his narrative, believe he was a victim of psychological abuse growing up, I am happy for him that he has faced and somewhat managed the impact of that abuse. But part of that management is rescuing children from what he suffered and is sufficiently mentally ill that he doesn’t understand the difference between helping those with an existing issue and grooming and recruitment to a life that has fulfilled his needs. The bullying/intimidation incident of the hijabi woman demonstrates the poison and inappropriateness of his message. Best to you.

Kids are easily manipulated. The brains of children take till 20-25 to fully develop for both genders. I understand giving someone the benefit of the doubt, and i believe in innocence until guilt is proven, but...if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its probably a duck. To me, groomers and peds can be separate from each other in a very objective view, but they tend to go hand in hand. Most of your commenters here who disagree with you are disagreeing because Jeffrey’s behavior (in the deleted videos and perhaps elsewhere) is pretty much the definition of grooming. Any adult who does that can absolutely be called a potential groomer. One of the nonbinary people in my class at teacher school went on about keeping pronouns and preferred names secret from parents. I spoke up and said that as a parent I wouldn't want any secrets kept from me especially as that teacher is a stranger to me and you never know anyone's intentions.
