My respect to Dr Zakir Naik and to everyone. The holy Prophet [PBUH] said “Do not allow your stomachs to become graveyards!” , “All creatures are family of Allah and He loves the most those who are the most compassion to His family.” “Allah will not give mercy to anyone, except those who give mercy to other creatures". "Where there is an abundance of vegetables, a host of angels will descend on that place.” ...... Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "Beware of meat. It has addictiveness like the addictiveness of wine." . I would like to say I was eating meat in the past and by Allah mercy I do not eat meat. Non-veg is permitted in Islam ,is in the holy Quran , the meat has to made halal. ..The holy Quran, all the verses were not all reveal at once so according to times, places were reveal. ...I will write what I understand. Why do we have to make meat halal if meat was naturally a human consumption. At the time of the holy Prophet the people were so degraded, they were killing so many animals, so halal was given as a compromise. The teachings of Prophet Muhammad is to consume more Veg and less meat. Meat halal is given so we can gradually give up the bad habits. As people progress in spiritual advancement, the truth will reveal. To please Allah, one has to give up this bad habits of eating meat. People say Allah is all merciful, full of compassion, all creatures are family of Allah, so who Father want his children to be killed. If happens there is nothing else to eat then an animal may have to be sacrifice in Allah names. If you say I only eat halal meat, Are you completely sure you are eating halal meat. Some say but plants have life too and that true but plants are in a different body, they are in low level of consciousness, so less pain. Destroying plants for no good reasons are also wrong. As humans we have to eat, so plants are naturally given for us to eat. Some say Prophet Muhammad eat meat. Was there any meat on his plate when he was fasting? There is story I read that the prophet did eat meat, but some scholars, they said it was not the Prophet custom, but he ate just to show us how meat can be dangerous, [the time Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] was given poison meat to eat]. Many more I can write but ....... are we ready to understand.
