As per Quraan 2:62,it's not mandatory to follow Prophet Muhammad for the non Muslims who are the People of The Book(_in fact,all nations were addressed by prophets and hence even the Hindus in India can be considered as Ahlul Kithaab according to many scholars) to attain bliss and Jannah. The conditions referred in the verse are 1.Believe in Allah 2.Believe in the Hereafter 3.Do good deeds.

May God Give you people's some wisdom & consciousness 😊 yes I do agree that everybody should be thankful to god for giving us life & everything else, but thankfulness is a state of mind not merely prayer's and word's.. thankfulness to god only come through mindfulness , a thankful person a person who knows allah is watching him/her everytime never become agitated.. never become afraid of anyone.. never harm anyone through his/her word's & deeds .. never be arrogant or egoistic.. never commit sins.. just namaz & other rituals doesn't work it's the "state of mind" that is important.. Not to mention he doesn't seem to have an inkling of the vast scholarship build up over 1500 years by monumental figures in Islam. Abu Hamid Ghazzali for example dealt with this question (sorry I can't cite now) and concluded that people that never heard of the message of Islam will be judged according to their actions in this world. The same is true for people that did hear the message of Islam but found it unconvincing and did not believe in it. Dr Zakir Naik also seem to have no grasp of sophisticated legal reasoning methods which are needed for determining jurisprudence questions. Forget about being up to date with latest Islamic and secular philosophy scholarships.

I completely agree with your response. I have a slightly different question. We, being born in a Muslim family, gets Islamic teaching since childhood but what about a kid born in a non Muslim family? He or she won't be getting any Islamic education regarding what's right and what's wrong. On the day of judgement, will the two kids be judged on the same basis where one of them got the Blessings of being born in a Muslim family and the other one born in a non Muslim family. There are far less chances for a non Muslim kid to figure things out on his/her own when they see their elders all their life not following Islam. How can someone be blamed if they never got the chance to explore Islamic values.

But the point is when all your life no one is telling you about Tauheed and the concept of Oneness of Almighty and Prohethood, then it would be really really difficult for someone to ponder over these things themselves. I know that there are some examples where non Muslims converted, but most of the times if a teenager has been taught non Islamic values, they are bound to continue that path.

Some Christians, when you talk to them they are so convinced that they are worshiping only one God even though they say he has a son because they were told that the Father is the son and the son is the father. On the other hand, some also are convinced that Jesus is God himself who came in a human form. Aoudou billah..May Allah guide them They were told falsehood and they believed it generations after generations, and maybe they didn't get the chance to know Islam in its right form and not the image portrayed by non-Muslims who just want to make Islam look bad. Why did Muhammad say he doesn't know where he goes after death? Yes no one knows what's going to happen after death according to this verse of the Quran. 46:9 Say, “I am not different from the other messengers; and I do not know What Will be done With me, or with you. | only follow what is inspired in me, and I am only a clear Warner." Here, Allah mentioned Mohammed as a human being just like us. Then question rises, if messenger of Allah doesn't know if he would go to heaven or not, then who's going to heaven? When Allah forgave his past and future sin and mentioned in the Quran that he is the best human ever emerged for humanity. (Quran 48: 2 That Allah may forgive you (Mohammed) your sin, past and to come, and complete His favors upon you, and guide you in a straight path.) Yes in Islam his-his whose-whose. Like before her death, prophet's first wife requested a favor from him. She asked him to pray to Allah for herself, so she may get mercy. But Mohammed denied that by saying she got to answer Allah by herself. It's clear that we have to be prepared for the day of judgement before our death appears. But Allah mentioned he may authorize some of his messenger to advocate for their followers. In many saying prophet Mohammed said he may not advocate for those who doesn't follow his teachings. And he has given many clues how to secure heaven before and after death. It means he wanted us not to depend on him only. There's no reason to be upset because Allah gave so many ways to get salvation, so keep it in your faith that may Allah forgive all of us even we all are sinners and prophet Mohammed may be in our side of the day of judgement. By the way there's a verse in the Quran that says Prophet Jesus, son of Mary, would request Allah, to forgive total humanity but his request is pending. Below few verses from Quran, where Allah mentioned Prophet Mohammed. Quran 33:21 There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often. Quran 39: 41 We sent down upon you the Book for mankind in truth. He Who follows guidance does so for the good of his soul. And he who strays in error does SO to its detriment. You are not their Overseer. 47:2 And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition. 47: 33 O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and do not let your deeds go to waste. 34 Those who disbelieve, and hinder from Allah's path, and then die as disbelievers-Allah will not forgive them. 68:4 And you are of a great moral Character. 68: 50 But his Lord Chose him, and made him one of the righteous. 58: 20 Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger
