With a mintage of 30,000 compared to a whole lot more collectors of silver eagles worldwide (not counting the ones who will become collectors) the demand for them will always be there to complete people's collections. I failed to get one from the mint, like most people, but bought a PF 69 on ebay for $595 the very next day. Four days later similar ones are selling on ebay for $850. I'm keeping mine as part of my silver eagle collection.

rocketfighter8 At first it seemed like people were overpaying with 5-600. I don’t think that’s the case anymore, you got a good deal! I agree, I just wonder how high the price will go.
@Mark-yf7ql5 жыл бұрын
The 1995 w silver eagle proof peaked at $50k. Mintage was 30,125 for the 95 w. So i would expect a repeat of that price with this one but it didnt peak in price till around 2005. This info came directly from pcgs. Im surprised noone on youtube is talking about this.

Mark H I believe it was partly due to the quantity of ms70’s being rare. I think the minting process wasn’t as great. I don’t it will be the same scenario, but having #1 of the signed could go for very big money.
