One Foot is flatter than the other
Most clients I have helped have this imbalance.
One arch may be lower because of strength imbalances, between the two feet.
In our daily life, we engage in habits, through circumstance that require
favoring one leg/foot over the other.
Once you identify what habits or injury has caused the imbalance
you can take steps to strengthen the flatter foot.
Resistance training is the fastest way to regain balance between the limbs.
1) Start all your resistance training exercises with the weak side and then match those reps on your dominant side.
Resistance training is vital, to speed the development of the laggard foot/leg.
The flatter side is the weaker side, so once that side is tired or you lose the mind/muscle connection, you should stop immediately.
This process is tedious and takes many weeks to months, to catch up for years of ingrained imbalance.

Interesting video, I hadn't thought about that at all before. I also drive barefoot almost always, but I guess I don't drive sooo much as for it to cause any problems. Anyways, thanks for the video! 👍

I'm kinda weird with a right foot significantly flatter than my left. My left foot doesn't have a bunion, either. Hoping to fix it with exercise with due time

i have very rigid arches, and it is my left foot which is flatter but the thing is i don't drive and im right foot dominant lol

It’s my right foot that’s fallen… You’d think it would be stronger. I drive with my right foot. But I need to fix this imbalance.

I drove manual cars for 40 years so both feet got a workout, but my right foot flattens some due to an old plantar fasciitis injury. Seems to be no cure.

I can’t do a calf raise on my left foot . I figured I could do single calf raises till my left foot gets stronger

I have a bad imbalance with my psoas major. One shortened and extremely tight on my right side, and I flat foot on my right, could this be causing my arch to collapse. It would be great to hear your opinion

Manuals allow for practice.. but are rare these days.

This wouldn't be a problem for a routine resting squat user.

No, it shouldn't. Practice in a resting squat should help to balance your mobility.
