Which is Better? A Flat Foot or a High Arched Foot?

I had flat feet I had no problems until I got insoles in my shoes I do gymnastics and I have been grown up always putting impact on it but as soon as my feet became to normal arched I got more injuries so I have removed insoles and now I have flat feet I have less pain and have a better time doing exercise this is the same with many athletes I’m not saying it’s better but I find i have less injuries and i never had problems or pains but this could be because I always strengthen my feet and I have wide splayed toes

I don't have flat feet not high arched feet, my feet is arched perfectly but I still have problems with my heels, not in the bone but in the nerves, this happens after I reach 30

I generally don’t recommend over the counter insoles for a high arch foot. Your foot naturally moves to the outside/lateral side. Putting an insole in that buttresses up the arch will force you to the outside even more. This can cause pain in your ankle, knee, or IT band. If you need support consider a custom orthotic.
