Thank you, Rabbi Sacks. We are fortunate to hear your wisdom. 25:00 When we pray, we are speaking to God. When we are learning, we are listening to him.

First learn and then pray (Listen, then speak). Thank you for making it so clear.

I noticed 2 hands down. If you are not Jewish and acquainted with the Hebrew language, or attend shull on Shabbat and are familiar with the prayer book - sidder - this will make absolutely not much sense to you. Smile. It does make sense, beautiful sense. It is inspiring. Rabbi Sacks never fails to prick the Jewish soul, to wake us up to the reality of the beauty of a life lived with Hashem (The Name)

As usual Rabbi sums up essential ideas beautifully. I am wondering how we can get the source sheet that is used for this?

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and pouertie, but thou art rich, and I know the blasphemie of them which say they are Iewes and are not, but are the Synagogue of Satan. Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Iewes, and are not, but doe lie: behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feete, and to know that I haue loued thee. Time is short!

No peace in Jerusalem to this day, no peace in the world to this day. The Saints of God are Psalms 50:5 Gather my Saints together vnto mee: those that haue made a couenant with me, by sacrifice. Leviticus 19:2 Speake vnto all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and say vnto them, Ye shalbe holy: for I the Lord your God am holy. If the JewISH people say they are God's people, why is the other 11 tribes not in Israel? Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Israel is a victim of "Identity Theft" since 70 A.D.

nope. yehuda and benjamin and rest of Levi preserved even in the age of yehuda ha nasi who is complier of mishna(written oral torah) that i have learned as fact. Bnei israel alived ever. that was G-d's steadfast loving which promised with Abraham and rest of the world. interpretation may varies but when we talk about torah ketuvim neviim with jewish people, at least we better listen what was scribed hebrew-aramaic first. some of your interpretation is understandable English translation terms as extreme theological of some aspect of christianity. i do not agree that.Vaikra so to speak Leviticus 19:2 holy means not as christian terminology in jewish thoughts. for example, Ramban(nachmenides) who is well known jewish rabbi of 13th century around says, someone who observes only the letter of the divine given law can easily become a degenerate with the permission of the Torah, for such a person can observe the technical requirements of the commandments while surrending to self indulgence, gluttony, and licentiousness.etcs Sanctify yourself in what is permitted to you(talmud tractate Yevamos 20a) on this view, Your direct quotation of the verse have no meaning about lost tribes. Rather its about cleaness of heart, mind, body as personal. not the preservation of tribes. because it happens, in English bible can not read by personal directed speech of HaShem by lips of moseh. so. i think its time to study ourselves hebrew, not now when? sorry to say but yeshu or yeshua or jesus was a jew linage as N.T said even in the motherside. and he spoke aramaic and hebrew read the bible again. G-d always love his people All. hating is Abomination to the heaven's sake. even jesus said Love your neighbors. If you love him, Love others. lets stop reshon haRa(bad speech). may peace upon you and your family in the name of yours G-d is Love.
