In every set of Nach (the prophetic and holy writings books of the Bible), you will find the five scroll books for five separate festivals. The ancient Biblical compilers considered Esther, Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, and Koheleth (Ecclesiastes) to be one book since they are read and studied in association with four festivals (Purim, Passover, Pentacost, and Sukkot) and Tisha B'Av. So one usually finds Koheleth with commentaries in volumes of Nach entitled the 5 Megillot and without commentary in your family Bible.

At 32:30 Rabbi Sacks of Blessed Memory makes an oblique reference to the spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle, author of the mega-selling 'The Power of Now'. I knew Eckhart as Ully, the diminutive of Ulrich, when he was an unassuming post-graduate student at Cambridge, long before he became one of the most widely read spiritual intellectuals of his generation, someone worthy of an honourable mention by Rabbi Sacks, arguably himself the greatest of all public intellectual in his day. To his friends, Ully radiated humility and charisma in equal measure. To his followers, Jew and non-Jew alike, Rabbi Sacks' great legacy lives on...

A wonderful lecture by rabbi Jonathan Sacks on the meaning of what is a Succah. Man does not need a glamorous dwelling of bricks and mortar-he can dwell in a Succah. The Succah is a temporary dwelling-a dwelling where one can enjoy the festival of Succot. Rabbi Jonathan Sacks was a wonderful communicator and Orator He was an historian,a learned man and a proud Jew. His death is sadness. May his memory be a blessing And May we as Jews follow in his footsteps celebrate Sukkot. In a Succah as Jews did in history

YaH is Holy and Pure and this world better STOP defiling YaH with having a “son” with that of a human woman. That is BLASPHEMY Praise YaH and ONLY YaH

THE 6 HEAVENLY PALACES IN THE ENSAMBLES DE SAMUEL Dear Rabbi Sacks Observing the teachings of the Zohar that each Heavenly Palace has a corresponding door to hell with its respective guardian portray this mystical knowledge in the light of the ENSAMBLES that defy the Law of Entropy for being in the Holy Scriptures from Judaism a Divine Interference in the creation of the Names and dates existing in them. So we have: 1. Celestial Palace of EL SHADAI VN=345 same VN of HASHEM and same VN of the name MOSHÉ, and, because it is VN greater than 150 (justified in Ensamble ECHAD) it admits NS=3+4+5=12 This Palace is the same as EHIE ASHER EHIE of VN=543 (345 inverted) because its NS=5+4+3=12 again This Heavenly Palace has headquarters on earth in TSION VN=156, same VN of the name YOSSEF and, before its headquarters was in SHILO VN=345 (same VN of MOSHÉ ) showing us that YOSSEF and MOSHÉ have MESSIANIC connotations and, their NS is also 12. The guardian of the Hell Gate of this Heavenly Palace is called SATAN VN=750 because he is the evil angel who also has NS=12 According to Rashi, SHEM VN=340 NS=7 was the first ancestor of the Jewish people and AMALEK VN=250 NS=7 their first arch-enemy So it is to be expected that there is: 2. SHEM Heavenly Palace with Amalek being the guardian of the Hell Gate of SHEM'S Heavenly Palace. Whoever is not accepted into SHEM'S house of studies will be convicted by AMALEK. 3. The Heavenly Palace of DAVID and RA ( the Egyptian deity ) the guardian of the Hell Gate of the Heavenly Palace of DAVID According to RASHI the celestial DAVID is a degree of Hierarchy below EL SHADAI; and RA (the Egyptian deity) one degree of hierarchy below the level of perversity of SATAN. That's why we have: - EL SHADAI NS = 12 and SATAN NS = 12 DAVID VN=14 NS=14 and RÁ VN=275 therefore NS=14 since David's VN is less than 150, its NS is the same as its numerical value VN as explained in the ENSAMBLE ECHAD for the name NOACH. 4.Heavenly Palace of MASHIACH VN = 358 NS= 16 e, the guardian of the Hell Gate of the Palace of MASHIACH HAMASH'CHIT the angel of the forces of destruction VN=763 NS = 16 As ESSAV was the enemy of PEACE (SHALOM) and, ESSAV has VN = 376, the same numerical value of the SHALOM Word VN=376 must have the: 5. Heavenly Palace SHALOM and the guardian ESSAV of the Hell Gate of this Heavenly Palace. 6. The Heavenly Palace of YERUSHALAIM VN = 596 logo NS = 20 and the guardian of the Hell Gate of this Heavenly Palace is MASH'CHIT , the force of destruction, whose NS = 20 Note: since the first king of Israel took the throne in 2882 logo NS = 2+8+8+2 = 20 shows that Yerushalaim belongs to the Kingdom of Israel Shalom to all

ARE THERE still "gods" in Israel? Dear Rabbi Sacks. The Book of the Prophets insists that the people of Israel abandon the gods and I see that this ancient phrase is still valid in modern days because the word ELOHIM also means JUDGES who, in truth, are subordinate to the PARLIAMENTARIANS who make laws while the LAWS that exist at TORAH are neglected because they do not meet the interests of parliament. Q. And, what do we see with the DISOBEDIENCE of the Eternal Laws expressed in TORAH? A. DEGENERATION and, why not say: THE DESTRUCTION of the subjected Nations that are under "pious" laws that make criminals more and more arrogant and threatening making a world of CONFLICTS and far from a peaceful coexistence among the citizens of GOOD! IN THE MESSIANIC ERA TORAH WILL BE UNIQUE! SHALOM TO ALL!

Wonderful, inspiring sermon. Thank you, Lord Rabbi Sacks. Your various quotes such as from King Lear recall to my mind the Tanakh qote from Ecclesiastes, Chapter 1, Verses 2 & 3: "Utter futility!--said Koheleth--Utter futility! All is futile! What real value is there for a man in all the gains he makes beneath the sun?"

Dear Rabbi Who is a Jew according to Nachmanides (Ramban) and RASHI? According to Nachmanides, the foreign woman who has conjugal relations with a Jew is already considered Jewish - the woman is part of the mans rib. And Rashi mentions Dana Jacobs daughter as a Canaanite woman for having had relations with Shechem, a Canaanite man. I follow these commentators and my clear view of TORAH. Shalom

Theme: Rabbis educating young people Dear Rabbi. Regarding the dialogue between the children and their parents, I think it is a good suggestion to give a lecture on the topic that we should not trust men according to Psalm 118. 8 and Corah's sin in putting the people in doubt about the authority of Moshe who would represent the father. There is a fine line between sinning for believing in a human being and sinning for disobedience like Corah's. All of this is fascinating to me and at the same time frustrating because I am so far away from the Masters in order to be able to talk to you as the disciples did with their Master Shimon Ben Yohai But, I think this Lecture is very useful in order to make young people more prepared for dialogue with their parents My cordial Shalom

This is a thanksgiving to the Lord of the Worlds that I say every morning - (it is offered to anyone who wants to say thank you to God)King of kings, Lord of the world, Lord of the worldThanks! Ali and you gave me all the best in the worldThank you for always being with me.Thank you, King of Kings, also for all the things I do not have, thank you that it is difficult for me sometimes, because everything is in my favor, and even if I did not always see it in my favor, in a second and deep thought I learned and know that everything comes from you Father Sovereign - is the good thing for me , And it was made especially for me, for my benefit in the most perfect way possible.
