Sri Lanka couldn’t pay the debt so they handed their seaport to China. Pakistan too has no choice but to pay debt or handover Gwardar to China. Gwardar port was the collateral in the deal.

You have -ve attitude. With CPEC-2 starting with bang is going to help lot. China Pakistan armies are getting in details for new projects. In this Gwadar is going to be very important. The international airport is getting ready for international operations. China is thinking of upgrading of Gwadar port and China will send materials for export to Wurope and Midwest by Gwadar. Trucks full of exportable stuff will be starting from China mainland to Pakistan port Gwadar. Here Chinese ships will be docking and picking up stuff from trucks , loading on ships. The empty trucks will carrying Pakistan exports to China by KK Highway. This will be cheap ways of transporting pakistani exports. This is win win situation for China and Pakistan. China will be protecting Gwadar wth their special forces. Along KKH both Pakistani and chinese army security forces will be protecting these central roads of China ,Pakistan import and export happening through Port of Gwadar. The golden years of CPEC are starting which will change economic landscape of Pakistan. Slowly but surely Pakistan is migrating towards mid income economy and leaving poverty to history. Long live CPEC and eternal brotherly friendship of China and Pakistan, unstoppable journey towards rising wealth, GNP, and prestige of both nations.
