@@taymiaali3215 Nobody can get access to VVIP's in Pakistan , ask bold questions and get away with it all on record unless they have some solid personal backing of VVIP themselves. In essence, he is part of the same elite circle who he is trying to mock here. The buffalo thing was unbelievable. Incoherent and narcissistic. Lacks introspection. “Not a single journalist” did this or that. His impact on readers and viewers is bare minimum. His reporting isn’t Noorani or Sethi or Mir or zehra for that matter. Not a single coherent answer that was to the point. I recommend he reads ayesha siddiqa’s book “Military Inc” Bear grylls of Pakistani media to be honest. Great job on the podcast as always shehzad. You probably interviewed him better than he ever interviewed anyone. Avid listener. Keep up the great work.

It is true that Urdu was not the language of Pakistan and that Bengalis raised an objection to its being a national language and agitated too, but in spite of all that the issues were settled in the constitution of 1956 in which Bengalis had even agreed to forgo their share of representation in the Parliament by 12% reducing it from 56% to 50% and increasing the share of West Pakistan from 44% to 50%. Need not to say that that the it was the 1956 Constitution which was a mile stone in the unity of the country which was achieved by hard work by mutual consent . But unfortunately even 50% representation of bengalis was not acceptable to the ruling elite of West Pakistan Who's interests appeared to be at stake because of it . Therefore Martial law was imposed to wipe out the democracy itself which was the first step towards the break of of Pakistan the credit for which goes to the great general Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan.

Hard reboot starts from the top. Just like how Nehru in India was visionary enough to start IITs and think the big picture, there's no one like that in Pakistan, or at least even if there is the conditions are completely different than India. The elites (and establishment) here don't want that since they'll lose all their powers. Sadly, even while being a Pakistani, I don't see any positive future here at least for the next 20 years.

Shehzad's podcasts are very informative and shed much needed light on a variety of purposely obscured topics, especially related to the military and the absolute havoc they've caused throughout our nation's history. The range of guests, and topics covered is top notch. However, I find it a little disconcerting how he skirts around topics relating to the current opposition parties (PDM), especially when it comes to Zardari, and the absoutely disastrous and self-enriching policies of the Bhuttos and Sharifs. I'd love to see a non partisan discourse on that as well.

@@ThePakistanExperience Khan was firmly against the launch of Pakistan's military operations in Waziristan in 2004 and subsequent operations and this remained a sticking point between him and the military until the end of Zarb e Azb. Also recall Khan criticizing the military for election interference in 2013. So Wajahat is wrong.

@@ThePakistanExperience does not make any sense. Khan has been criticizing the state policy against war on terror since 2002. Military got billions in aid from USA aid during war against terror. Musharaf was the military establisment. Musharaf was the GHQ, army chief. Imran khan's stance on war against terror was a clearly against the state policy at that time. Wajahat's arguements do not make any sense, he is talking about a far fetched hypothesis. you should have grilled him on this point more.

@@ThePakistanExperience and his point that military has been nursing IK for 22 years is also nonsensical. You have to accept that IK's stance on a few major issues has been very clear throughout his journey like Corruption, war on terror, foriegn policy etc . In 2018, the time had come when these issues became very relevant and thats why his time has come and he is in power.

His laughter at 1.03 with musharraf’s acknowledgment of assassination is shocking. Now he’s trying to cover up. Great job Shehzad for pushing him on it. So far this guy wajahat is the most unlikeable guest I’ve seen on this show.
