Wrong, same scheme in many other countries, I can think of Egypt where the army has control of over 70% the economy. They don't pay taxes, have free labor from mandatory military service which creates unfair competition to private companies... Now the country is at the brink of bankruptcy after the president, who headed a military coup in 2013, has doubled the countries debt after repetitive loans of billions with no result, actually he was building palaces and buying expensive planes, their currency crashed over the last few months and is expected to crash even more... Long story short, when the military get involved in fields where they are not supposed to, then that field is doomed!

The US deals with the military not the politicians. As soon as he wanted to cut the military budget and downsize the army he was removed from power. Look at your country... You chosen to be legally obligated to put your lives on the line in defence of the US but when you tried to purchase an air defence system they said no... even though Greece, Romania, Spain, Kuwait, Netherlands ect ALL have it. There is a LITERAL war on your border where not only genocidal Assad, Russia, Iranian militias, Al qaeda and ISIS operate but also a terror group that directly wants to destroy turkey... A terror group the US fund, trains and arms. Why would the US say no? What is the logic? So when you buy the next best option not only does the US impose sanctions on you they also kick you off the F35 program which you have already invested a non refundable $1billion dollars. Turkey has been asking to buy the upgrades for F16s since 2009.. upgrades that Greece received in 2007... only in 2023 have the US agreed. Everyone in NATO had recieved this by 2011 even all the Arab states from Egypt to Qatar already had it but Turkey was being denied.... And then they not only host Gulen but they support the coup against the Turkish govt via the military. ONLY thanks to Putin who said he recieved intelligence from Mossad which Russia confirmed allowed Erdoğan to be saved before it happened and the US denied they had any knowledge it was going to happen.... which is IMPOSSIBLE. WHICH MEANS THEY AT THE VERY LEAST ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN IF NOT ORGANISED IT.

Seemed very clear to me Creating political controversy and constitutional instability creates damaging factional tensions, and threatens the stability of the nation. Thus, the army takes control. Relating to the US, our military didn’t step in during January 6th because generals did not believe they needed to assume there is a breakdown of executive power, and waited for order, and assured other governments that we weren’t going to resort to emergency military activation to get things under control

So a bit of correction, while debt was a problem under Khan, the economy was doing very well. Manufacturing and exports were at a record high due his policies, poverty was reduced, as well as Healthcare was improved. The GDP grew by 5-6% YoY under his rule. Since his removal GDP is now -0.5%, losing over $33 billion in terms of gdp. Manufacturing has declined double digit, debt has increased, Pakistan is the most at risk of defaulting in the world, and exports have declined by double digit as well. To say that Shahbaz Sharif's government is on par with Imran Khan's government is just bad research. Shahbaz Sharif's government has been one of the worst that Pakistan has ever seen.

I haven't watched the video yet but as a Pakistani I can tell you this: WE already are. Edit: Just finished watching. Excellently explained the economy part at the start (some key detail missing though). The IMF situation from the public's eye is a result of demonization of the institute by everyone. If one actually bothers to read the IMF recommendations (other then the austerity) ones then they will realize that it's what Pakistan truly need (this topic plus the economy topic is too long to discuss). Khan's three targets mentioned were... a train wreck. The covid part is well not accurate to be exact. We had some good things and bad things happen at the same time but their contribution to politics is next to zero. The coalition partners didn't leave due to Khan's economic policy but rather the money and influence of Khan's opponents. Khan's response to vote of confidence was delayed that it became destined to fail and it was same with local bodies election in Punjab. The current government delayed the election but this level of delay came from Khan and PTI who delayed the Punjab local bodies election for three years right after when PTI brought in new local government law. NAB isn't a security service, it's a corruption watchdog. How this will go: PTI has been skinned alive and slaughtered as of this moment. Also what the hell happened to Jack's voice at end segment (the ad part).

IMF is an easy scapegoat since its what people turn to to drag governments out of the holes they drove their countries into; so people can point at all of these major collapsing countries associating with the IMF as proof of bad faith. And people who would prefer to fear the foreigner over the domestic elites will lap it up. No way to really fix that, tbh.

The IMF is just a tool of imperialism, by putting countries in debt and therefore dictating what they should do in their own country. Making the country sell their own ressources cheap, selling public services like water, schools, police, prisons, public transportation etc etc, to foreign companies. Basically selling out the country, without any say of the people of the country. Its another way of gaining a lot of power in that country, invading it. Of course with interest attached as well to the loans. They did that many times in history. Only someone who isnt informed about their practices would support the behavior of the IMF. Pakistan in 2016-17 parted ways with IMF. Khan, unfortunately, is an american stooge for the acts he performed. He purposefully tanked key revenue generating projects and kept stalling proceedings with China on CPEC. When Pakistan entered IMF programme again, IMF wanted details on CPEC. China and Pakistan had agreed to that prior that such information is confidential, but khan's dilly dallying caused both anger from China and america. The last problem is that he created an energy crisis in Pakistan by not purchasing fuel in timely manner and used reserve money to keep PKR afloat artificially. In short, the bastard tried to zimbabwe Pakistan.

When army generals retire they get 240 acres of land. Every serving or non serving army servant gets free electricity, free gas, 50% discount on groceries, free medical for him and his family too till death. First of all great video. Although some details are missing. Imran Khan and PTI party has been the brainchild of the military since the mid-90s as a third alternative to Pakistan mainstream parties. This project was only intensified in the 2010s with the help of courts and other politicians to unseat Nawaz Sharif by disqualifying him on an absurd legality. If that wasn't enough, the military systematically curtailed Khan's opponents to increase his chances of forming a government. When Khan was PM, he was one of the most vocal defenders of army's influence within the government. However, disagreements on the appointment of ISI's chief strained relations with the army and the subsequent VONC. Another thing to note is that Khan directly confronting the army can be considered suicidal. As of now many senior members of PTI have left the party and either retired (forcibly) or joined other parties. Khan is also at risk of being disqualified for elections. Rumours are that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari may become next PM in October 2023 although there is no guarantee. All in all there is no risk of a coup because there is no need to and the army isn't stupid enough to inherit this mess for themselves. The current hybrid regime will readjust to new realities. In the long-term Pakistan will eventually evolve into a proper parliamentary democracy.

In the realm of armed forces, a stark contrast emerges between the noble institution of the professional army and the malevolent presence of dacoits. Though both wield the power of firearms, the distinction lies not in their weaponry, but rather in their adherence to the principles of law, discipline, and honorable conduct. A profound elegance sets the professional army apart, transcending mere physical prowess to embody a profound commitment to righteousness. The professional army, as an embodiment of order and righteousness, operates within the bounds of a just and structured society. Each soldier, a stalwart guardian of the nation, willingly submits to the rule of law, recognizing that their duty is to serve and protect. In the face of danger, they embody a resolute discipline, forged through rigorous training and instilled values. Their conduct adheres to a code of ethics, upholding integrity and respect for human life. Like a symphony of purpose, their synchronized movements on the battlefield exemplify the culmination of tireless preparation and unwavering commitment to a higher cause. Contrastingly, dacoits emerge from the shadows as renegades of society, propelled by lawlessness and devoid of the virtues that guide the professional army. Driven by self-interest, they wield their guns as instruments of chaos, heedless of the devastation they sow in their wake. Their actions are a testament to a decayed moral fabric, where the principles of justice and honor have succumbed to the darkness. Far removed from the symphony of the professional army, their every move is a discordant note in the symphony of civilization, perpetuating a cycle of fear and instability. In this stark dichotomy, the beauty lies not in the possession of firearms, but in the preservation of humanity's highest ideals. The professional army is a testament to the triumph of order over chaos, embodying the elegance of discipline, honor, and the pursuit of a just cause. Its soldiers, guided by the light of virtue, harmonize their actions with the principles of righteousness. Theirs is a calling elevated above the mundane, forging a path where strength is tempered with compassion, and the power of arms is wielded for the greater good. So let us marvel at the profound distinction between the professional army and the dacoits. One stands as a pillar of societal order, a bastion of righteousness, while the other embodies the disruptive forces that threaten the very fabric of civilization. In their juxtaposition, we find a poignant reminder of the enduring power of discipline, virtue, and adherence to the rule of law. The beauty lies not only in the strength of arms but in the resolute commitment to honor and the pursuit of justice that sets the professional army apart.
