I moved to Islamabad back in March 2021. I work remotely from here with my business based in UK. Earning in dollars/pounds will grant you an amazing lifestyle here. There will always be negative issues but personally I feel more content here than back in London. Couple of good International Schools with an Islamic ethos like Al Huda International School, Oxbridge Grammar School etc. Lots of mountain regions, valleys, nature around Islamabad. You can plan regular trips with your family, go hiking every weekend etc and let your kids connect to Allah via his beautiful creation. Plan it properly and give it a go yourself, enjoy the life journey :)

We've been very impressed with both housing schemes

As an Australian I lived in Oman for 12 months and my company suppled me with a house in a complex just like this one it included a gym and a swimming pool etc.. There was only me (until my wife came over for the last 3 months) I had 3 floors, 7 bedrooms all of them with ensuites beautiful marbled floors and stair cases, 10 split system A/C units etc.etc there were outdoor balconies on each floor and enclosed courtyards. I only ever used the kitchen and living area on the ground floor and I slept in a bedroom on the second floor. As friendly, welcoming and beautiful as Oman was I could never have lived there permanently because as a westerner our cultures were just so different.

I had a large house built from scratch to my liking over 20 years ago....best thing l ever did! Its the largest in the society, on a very large corner and smack bang in the middle. Im all in favour of a large outdoor garden lawn with lots of foliage and mature trees and its exactly what a got as l spend most of my time outdoors. Its my most favourite place...

Make sure you don't fall for this 'designer' word that easily. Many developers abuse this name wrongfully to sell the properties even though they aren't actually designed by any good architect or interior designer. Always ask the details and make sure they are authentic.

Awsom, concept of two kitchens very useful small kitchen behind main big kitchen called dirty kitchen, u cook n u don't hv time to tidy or organise u use dirty small kitchen ( which not at all dirty coz Pakistani keep house clean ) , powder room also useful guests use , so personal bathrooms hv privacy, most houses in Pakistan hv own sweet or bathroom . Cars or u throw party nice open space wow useful.
