I'm from Parsippany, great place, good people, lots to do and close to NYC. 0:58 The Large "Lake", upper right, is not a Lake it's the Jersey City Reservoir owned and operated by Jersey City and is Private property. Parsippany is a Township, Parsippany Troy-Hills Twp.

Too congested on rt 46. Too many cookie cutter condos going up. Not a fan.

Yeah. You’re either a fan of those or not. I will say this though, Parsippany is one of the largest townships in Morris County. There are so many other areas that are nowhere near route 46. No congestion and very quaint.

A simple reply would be, the people who love it here, who have family and friends here. Those who truly know what NJ has to offer. Those who work in manhattan and want a more suburban way of life. (just to offer up a few examples) I've lived here for a very long time and I love NJ. If you don't, that's ok. The beautiful thing about the US, if you don't vibe with a certain area or state, you can find one you do like.

Probably the most aggressively competitive area in Morris County. Listings average around 10-20 offers and are usually 10% above the asking price. But, everyone has their own opinions of where to live. That's what makes Northern NJ so great. There's so much choice.
