First off your reaction to the whole movie was chef's kiss. Loved how from the very beginning you wanted to see the demons take the bad people. And then when it happens, you were so giddy. As for Swayze movies there are a lot of great suggestions from other comments besides Dirty Dancing. I would definitely second the original versions of Road House, Point Break and Red Dawn. Also, "Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" is a funny movie that you would definitely enjoy.

@Boroman97 ай бұрын
What an all time classic! “Ghost” has always been a favourite of mine. Simply an awesome movie but what’s even more awesome is the behind the scenes action of making this movie even happen. Patrick Swayze originally wasn’t interested in the movie & he failed his first audition. It was only through a lot of begging and pleading from his agent, the director Jerry Zucker & producers that convinced him to come back a second time as they literally couldn’t see anyone else playing the role of Sam & he absolutely nailed the second audition. Then when it came to casting the role of Oda Mae, Patrick demanded the crew that Whoopi Goldberg must play her as he couldn’t picture anyone else doing. When they hesitated he threatened to walk out of the film unless she was cast. Finally, Tony Goldwyn (who played Carl) appeared on The View to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film and reunited with Whoopi; he too said that he originally didn’t get the role as either the director or one of the producers said he looked too much like a nice guy to play a villain but the other overruled him saying he’s actually perfect for the role as no one will ever suspect him & it would make the reveal that more powerful & impactful. What more is there to say. No wonder this movie turned out to be such a masterpiece. Loved your reaction as always, Mary!

(And the joke has been brought up many times about how they seemingly go immediately from being covered in clay to being clean in bed together.) My 2nd-favorite Demi Moore movie is _The Butcher's Wife._ My 3rd-favorite Patrick Swayze film is _To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar,_ also starring Wesley Snipes, Stockard Channing, and John Leguizamo. I wish you'd react to _Dead Again_ with Robin Williams.

Great movie and reaction. The performances are top tier . This movie was a Huge hit and was nominated for Oscars including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress which Whoopi won. Point Break is another great Swayze movie, A Few Good Men is another great Demi Moore performance and The ORIGINAL Color Purple is hands down a Whoopi Goldberg powerhouse. Enjoy

Patrick Swayze was also in the 1983 movie, “The Outsiders” based on a novel by Sam E Hiton which I read in High School. It’s a great movie. You will recognize a lot actors in this movie who had made many great movies like Tom Cruise and Ralph Macchio just to name a few.

24:15 My mother loved this movie made me watch it countless times along with Dirty Dancing. This scene and ghost on the train terrified me as a child. Finally watched it as an adult couple years ago

My most favorite genre-mix is SciFi + humor, both on good level. A movie like 5th Element, but best mix of those would be shows Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis

Swayze's best movie is the action film with Keeanu Reeves, Point Break (which does have a scene there in your home country).
