sadghuru lives a life full of expression lol but he feels the need to express this to people who are seeking... or are not even on the path of seeking yet... We have to express ourselves into a more silent and reflective lifestyle... And yes those people are the only ones who live but they live in isolation... you cannot take this state out to the public for long... we want this for the whole state of things... it is inevitable anyways

Sadguru is one of the greatest human beings to exist in our modern world. We are truly blessed to have such an enlightened being guide us, challenge us, and most importantly, help us grow into our fullest potential. I have spent around 3-4 years closely listening, reading and analysing what he says, and only recently realised just how intelligent he really is. It's beyond words, to say the least. Thank you, Sadguru, and everyone who volunteers for the Isha Foundation. You guys have all contributed to changing lives for the better.

Screw Freud. I majored in psychology and took great pride in it once. I excelled in this subject, thinking it was empowering my perception, when in reality, it only limited my perception. This particular study of modern psychology is nothing but a way to mindlessly analyze and experiment with people and their behavior, continually finding labels and categories to fit people into. It's just a sophisticated way to judge and divide people. When we remove fear, judgment, and worry, and just pay attention to our senses in stillness, we can allow our mind, body and energies to process everything on its own.

Guruji thank you for your wisdom on perception but as a seeker I have to say down the road expression is equally important, in my opinion. Expression of the perception. For example, you share so much love to the world with your art and poetry. To many people that is equally or even more important than when you are in samadhi. Some of us are hands on learners! Warm regards.

Instead of feeling alone, one realizes they are always being watched by the universe and it is the quality of expression that takes priority. Perception implies to your opinion. Expression is not based on your opinion always. If your expression depends upon your opinion then you are not free, but shackled by your own prejudices. Expressions are like light and wind, they spread spontaneously and cannot be concealed. If any person manages to conceal his expressions, then he is trapped within himself, due to his fault. Scope for expression = The unlimited Universe. Scope for perception = Limited area (depends upon your reach of understanding the unlimited Universe). Perception has every possibility to become unlimited, only if you chose to be unlimited by broadening your outlook. Expression is the most important and perceptions are only subsets of expression. 🙏

Dear Sadh, Guru, l m passing many of your speeches to my friends, but did we become also exoressionists rather than perceptionists?
@kartik87042 жыл бұрын
I have a question. While I understand what Sadhguru is saying, in society isn't it your ability to express what gets you noticed? This could be from the acuity of your thought, your emotion and even your perception. I do understand that as your perception gets enhanced, so is your expression. But isn't it important that your formative years are invested in learning to make meaningful bonds with people, and expressing yourself through your talents and skills? I grew up introverted/shy. I don't know which of the two was in what measure but I was ok being alone. Now I find myself longing for connections without the necessary skills to develop them. The obvious truth is I don't have the prowess to exude my love (for instance) nonverbally and to include people within the sphere of my love! Isn't it then important for me to develop skills of expression? Or is it about me confronting my individuality/loneliness and transcending it? Or is this something that is being directed specifically towards a "full fledged" social human whose next step is to turn inward? That, to me, makes it sound like spirituality is the last thing you do in your life which I know Sadhguru doesn't advocate.
@rajaraghu2 жыл бұрын
I do understand your perspective and sadhgurus. I guess both are valid under different contexts. Understanding the context and striking the balance is key. But how to get that balance only god knows. 🤔
