I love Scarlet & Violet, but this is by far the wackiest thing that's happened to me in this game. Also it happened live, so it was twice as funny!

Yeah, but there's no way it's killing the BIGGEST MEDIA FRANCHISE ON THE PLANET. The games aren't even The Pokemon Company's biggest revenue source anymore. It's the plushies, plastic crap and other merchandise that people buy the most of.

@JanusHoW Even giants fall. People seem to keep forgetting that. If GameFreak doesn't shape up, eventually the games market for them will collapse. Which would actually be even more devastating for them _because_ they treat the games more like glorified advertising.

ehhh palworld is more like ark than it is like pokemon. Only thing is instead of dinosaurs you have weird pokemonesque creatures running around.

@@IJC039 yes... BEHIND all the glitches. But the glitches are still there and they ruin the whole game for a lot of people. I at least agree with you that BEHIND the glitches it's one of the best games and even if the Pokémon designs are a bit controversial (when are new Pokémon not? D: ) I still thought the game was amazing, especially the story and Arven's quest with the titans, and not minding the glitches since they were very minor for me. It almost feels like people are trying to glitch the game to prove a point or their copies are way more broken because my game hasn't glitched too much. Graphically it still needs improvement but the Pokémon themselves have got massive model upgrades. If gamefreak were as "lazy" as people love to call them, I doubt they would give a single crap about updating the models but they literally did exactly that. Now if only the environment and lighting got the same treatment since people have gotten weird glitches with shadows.

I actually wonder sometimes if I have the *only* non broken copy of the game. I always see people's games breaking in ways I've never seen on mine. I think the worst/funniest glitch I've had in my entire playthrough was the models occasionally T-Posing when they load into the world

Everyone I play with also doesn't get graphical glitches so I'm not sure why Nintendo seems to only give glitched copies to people who stream it ;)

Usually the people with all these glitches appearing just purposefully try to get them for attention, the game isn't very glicthy

Same. The worst glitch I had was Koraidon's feet clipping into a mountain while we're climbing. It lasted only a second before things returned to normal.

The worst glitches I've run into are during Tera Raids, and that's probably because it's so hard to sync up four people on a timer-based battle. But other than those and the occasional bit of slowdown, it runs just fine for me.

Good story and characters but it's completely invalidated because game breaks too often for some people. It's unfortunate that they didn't put zero effort into the game but they didn't put enough either since people don't like it.

It is also ugly still that you could not tell if the characters are male or female. The anime graphics in the past games are so much better.

I'm still pushing for a EU comision to have a look at this game, Nintendo and it's dogs launched a product not only unfinished but broken, this goes against EU s merchant laws

This hasn't happened to me personally, I havent experienced any glitches but this may be one of the memory issues the game seems to has. Normally fixes itself when you close and reopen the game.

I’m surprised people are saying they never got glitches this bad. I’m playing on all original hardware and software and I get texture and camera glitches around this bad fairly consistently. It seems to happen more at very high playtimes; I’m at >450h played and it seems to get worse the more I play. Im a diehard Pokemon fan and had a ton of fun with SV, but it’s extremely broken. I’m glad Gamefreak is finally starting to get some competition; when an indie dev can put together a more polished game than the most profitable media franchise in the world, even if the designs are similar, it highlights just how much Gamefreak has let their standards drop.

OMG! 🤣 I’ve seen some funny glitches in this game when it first came out in 2022 but nothing like the ones you experienced. Every game has its glitches though. All in all, Scarlet has to be the best game I’ve played in a long time. The characters were great and relatable, the different storylines and regions were amazing and fun, and the chicken dance during the epilogue was hilarious! 🤣😂 It was the most entertaining, memorable part of the whole game imo 🤣 Hope you’re doing well!

Ngl my game had not gliched ever since the dlc came out this is funny to watch but kind of sad to see my favorite game company not be able to actually fix the glitches hopefully with the switch 2 it will be fixed

Dude that's fucking crazy the worst glitch I ever had was in five star tiroides The Violet legendary would randomly just be there literally floating in front of the Tara Pokemon not doing anything just there and the worst visual glitch I got would be textures not loading in my world never straight up bugged out and Pokemon never just straight-up fell through the Earth until my Crashed

Prople don't like when people act like streamers that try to break games on purpose mean the games are hottibly btoken, normal players playing the game normally rarely ever see any glitches, and the missing textures is a memory issue you can aboid by going outside for once instead of playing the game for 30 hours straight
