This is an interesting side of you Jordan. 🥰 Fr, Murr this morning addressed a simple solution, in a podcast with Joe McClane, that the TLM have its own Rite. Yet, there are so many Rites, some separated from Rome. Recently, your live show aired a married Priest I think from the Byzantine Rite. Though what Rite resembles the closest to what Christ originally established? Can God be happy with so many Rites and fraternities? Why are Sedevacantists considered outcasts, not with their own Rite, wheras Eastern or Orthodox Priests who are separated from Rome are fine??? My mind is constantly buzzing. God bless. ☘

With sedevacantism they don't recognize any pope after around 1960, they do not recognize the current pope so how would they be recognized as a rite ?, by what authority ?. Can God be happy with so many rites and fraternities ? why would he not be ! some have a particular calling such as teaching, or serving the sick. As far as the different Rites the church is not micky d, you can have different expressions of the same faith based on a variety of factors. Some moral and intellectual clarity would help you discern the differences, the TLM should be it's own Rite but they fear it becoming dominant. Look at all the problems the church has and they attack and abuse the most faithful adherents to that faith.

What Joe nor Charles Murr will tell you is that Charles Murr hasn’t have priestly faculties for over a decade. They were removed by his bishop for disobedience and operating outside of his Oxnard area diocese . For his refusal to submit to his bishop his priestly faculties were removed and he was forbidden from presenting himself Lu lucky as a priest in good standing, but there he is in every trad cast wearing his collar and calling him Fr. And allowing his host to call him Fr. This man is gravely disobedient.

I just went to my first old Mass a couple weeks ago and it was glorious. I belong to an NO parish with an amazing and reverent priest and I could tell how hurt he was by people who abandon their own parish to participate in the old Mass outside their parish. This is a difficult issue but I really hope and pray that we don't lose access to such a majestic liturgical practice.

Every other Sunday, my parish gets a guest who is/used to be Roman Catholic but has become disillusioned and confused. We currently attend the NO Mass. But the bad music is really tough. I spend the whole times apologizing to our Lord not only for my sins but for the music. It is indeed a penance. We finally walked out as the post communion song was a battle between the organist and the vocalist. God forgive us.

We can’t be judges because that’s Gods job, we have the obligation of praying for him. Disobedience is occuring in some of the people who have selected one form of the Mass as their idol, or has rejected the very authority that put the Traditional Latin Mass in place. Restricting of the TLM have occured as a warning.

Im not as tied to the TLM as you and others are since im new to the faith. But after reading Cardinal Yves Congar on traditions. Te mass being in Latin is a small t tradition, the language is not the meaning of the mass. if you feel following the lord is calling you to leave the church because of a difficulty-- isnt that what the reformation was? to me as a new person in the faith, all I hear is about how one mass is not valid and looked down on by people of the church. But i feel this overlooks the purpose of the mass which is to point to jesus sacrifice. are you loving the church and faith, if you reject her because you believe you know better? This doesnt affect FSSP and these societies. recently a society reached out to the pope and he told them to keep doing what they are doing. This is probably a good thing for the TLM to keep it true

Now is the real test. Can we remain faithful when the music at Mass is terrible? Yes. Can we remain faithful when the Mass isn’t as reverential as we like it to be? Yes. Can we remain faithful when there’s only a handful of people that show up at Mass? Yes. Can we remain faithful when the priest is a boring preacher? Yes. Can we remain faithful when there’s no Latin Mass near me? Yes. This is the real test. If you want good music, go become Church of Christ. If you want reverent liturgy, go become Orthodox. If you want packed churches with many families, go become Mormon. If you want stimulating sermons, go become Baptist. If you want the Latin Mass whatever the cost, go become Sedevacantist. But if you want to remain faithful whatever the cost, then a New Mass with terrible singing, a babbling priest and a bunch of old people is the price we have to pay. The knowledge that you’re doing God’s Holy Will along with sticking close to the pillars of Mother Mary and the Blessed Sacrament will sustain you in this time of trial. Offering up these sacrifices and pain is all worth it once you come out the other end of the tunnel. Family and friends that you’ve prayed for will return or convert to the Faith. This is my experience as living in a liberal diocese, in a liberal country where the only Latin Mass is the SSPX who are only 10 minutes down the road with my closest FSSP being an 8 hour drive away. The answered prayers of family and friends returning or converting to the Faith really made the pain all worth it. Hope this is an encouragement to those who can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Pax 🙏

Even Pope Benedict acknowledged that Eastern Orthodoxy represents the authentic faith of the first millenium of Christianity. The different autocephalous Churches (russian, serbian, antiochian, romanian, polish, greek etc) are not seperate Churches, theyre just different jurisdictions. Theyre all in communion with each other. That's like saying that Jesuits, eastern catholics, traditional latin mass parishes, Novus Ordo parishes etc are different RC Churches. Theryre not, it's all the same Church. I at least am honest enough to not misreprrsent the RC Church. No one is obligated to obey a heretic pope..that's FALSE obedience. St Athansius was one of the few who stood faithful to the true faith when the pope and Bishops held on to the Arian heresy.

Yeah that was a wild thing for him to say. It would be against Canon law for Francis to outright ban the TLM. There are no procedures on what happens if a Pope violates Canon law, but Popes can be found guilty by Church tribunals, however iirc they cannot carry out a sentence (although if a Pope is found to be a heretic, they immediately loose their position as Pope). In any case, you can't justify disobedience against a Pope on the grounds of disagreeing with something such as their liturgical reforms. You might as well become a protestant if you're going to start disobeying the Pope the moment he does something you don't like.

It would be a shame if he did since the NO is nowhere near as reverent as compared to the TLM. In any case disagreeing with a Pope's liturgical reforms is no reason to begin disobeying him and becoming a heretic/schismatic. Most likely, once we get a Gen X or Millennial pope, we're going to see a TLM revival anyways.
