Is Project Delta a Good Game?

No disrespect, but realism and slow-paced fighting with an intricate inventory system was kinda the point of the game. I don't think Solter wants a fast-paced shooter. When it comes to kill-speed and other pvp aspects, sure it needs to be tweaked, but I don't think it's fair to nitpick on one tap headshots. I feel like different playermodels would fix some of the issues with helmet to head size. When it comes to weapons, its no surprise that the mosin has a higher kill time than the PM, sure realism can in fact take away from gameplay, but when the point of the game is to be intricate and realistic, i think Solter is on the right track with his Penetration/Armor/Ammo systems. Oh and 100% needs an arcade

yeah i can agree 100%. One tap headshots are what we need in games more and i love where the gun/armor/ammo system is going. looking like an awesome game just needs some tweaks on the map maybe. i love the darkness at night it really adds to the realism.

I completely agree, Other than that you and I have no idea how well this game is gonna do once its free, if it ever becomes free. Thats if the development team actually pulls it off and ends up releasing it off of beta. which is why im not paying 400 robux to play a Roblox game that might have very mixed reviews and isnt even finished.

Pretty alright game only problems about it is that radiation place. When entering you will meet a lightning orbe. It’s pretty confusing since it’s not realistic. Another problem is guns. The guns are a bit aright but. The pvp is a bit different than lost or dust

The game itself right now is a combination of S.T.A.L.K.E.R and tarkov, the orbs are supposed to be inspired by the anomalies from stalker, maybe he will add artifacts like in that game.

this shared a problem i had with the game they made after lost, dust (i believe it was called) wilderness everywhere, towns were few in lost you can find towns, crates, barrels, etc in a lot of locations and if you're sneaky about it its pretty easy to get a good loot run, you can still die pretty fast but there's much more covers to hide behind and it felt easier to keep yourself safe and hidden i was considering buying project delta but campers are the bane of my existence and im too impatient to camp

Tbh I think the helmet system is fine for the most part, solter is already adding a mid tier helmet with a visor, so I think after it's added they'll be fine, I like the fact that if you miss with a mosin while in a bad spot you're pretty much dead, because if helmets were too good it wouldn't matter whether you missed or not you would just die either way because they could just tank the shot and flick onto your bean of a head and just click and be on with their day

Well i think the mosin dmg should decrese and shpuld also not ignore armour...because 90% of the time u dont know where is the player...and helmets is ok for now and from the recent update the combat is more duable...

the main issue I have with this game, is the god awful map. I don't mind the map being too big, but I do mind there being too little. the contrast between the low amount of monuments and the high amount of land is ridiculous. 1. more big monuments (big as in ones we have already) 2. wayyyy more small monuments to allow freshies to gear up easily, small monuments such as: bunker campfire, crashed tanks and Ural, random Urals in general and more road monuments like the car ones that'll give u a pistol on average the recent update did sort of fix this, in a game like this there needs to be a hierarchy with monuments, they made it so that sawmill is for end game players, Mili is for mod game and gas or town is for early game this is good but there is still a pressure on only 1 place being high end and 1 place being mid end, just needs to be increased tbh I hope that when they increase map size and have more monuments that the planned 50 players doesn't actually happen and mostly only 20 - 30 players are on most servers

The key takeaway I got from this is the map being too barren and the graphics of the said map to be boring. I don't really mind the walking speed as it's only realistic; this isn't cod or apex. The time to kill is also pretty much fine if it's for realism. The problem at its core is the lack of a dynamic environment with huge buildings, heavy foliage and forestry, and just stuff scattered about. The menu looks 100 times better than the actual map.

Night time turns into a horror game or Vietnam night raid. The night is a *literal* nightmare. Another thing to is the overall idea of not knowing if some dude is just fucking cracked at the game, or they’re straight up exploiting.

Honestly I like quick time to kill coz it makes you have to be methodical about what your doing and if you make a mistakes you die just like how la real shootout would be...then again im someone who LOVES realistic, tactical, hardcore shooters...the dev should add extensive gun customization since its heavily inspired by EFT and thats honestly the best part about EFT in my opinion, and also ITS TOO EXPENSIVE, its litrally 2 mounths of premium tier 1 or over 800 Robux maybe almost 900, at least bring it down to 400 if the game is THIS early.

high paywall = limits traffic flow low traffic flow = game cant have a tarnished reputation for having a buggy game (alpha) as of the recent update the price has lowered and this is because they can afford to add more traffic to the game basically gives the devs time to work on QOL improvements and overall gameplay improvements instead of releasing the game and being burnt out over bug fixes in the long run its a more viable method to keeping a solid playerbase than just getting 4k players constant for a month and it dying to 500 for the rest of the time due to ppl not wanting to return cus of lack of content & bugs

my friend and i grinded for a week to get the best gear in the game and at the end of the week planned to go on a huge raid spree with keys, the raid spree starts we try to meet up at the dock my friend who spawned there 5 minutes later gets headtapped by 3 pistol shots with the best headgear in the game 7 meters away after that me and my friend go back and find him at the extraction point my friend who has no gear at this point rushes at him and backstabs him 4 times and proceeds to get tapped, at this point he should be dead but oh no that would be too easy, i proceed to mag dump him while he is swimming on a straight line right in front of me and after my ak drum mag is out i shoot him 2-3 times with a shotgun *which may i add effected the water right on top of him but seemed to not faze him* and after that he turns around and kills me with about 6-7 body shots. thats what i think of this game....

A year later this game has actually taken all this advice and used it in the game they have added a all of your issues more poi's maps smaller the armor isnt as heavy and it is just so much better the lighter is better now more realistic and its just way better in my opinion I think you would like it now a year later

I think the biggest issue is realism, Solter tried to hard. I mean I don't mind the ammo types/mags blabla. But when you make it pitch black, Have guns with 0 recoil, Helmets that barely do anything unless you look down, Then yea. Its very realistic. But it's boring. The map is to big. Campers. Slow walking. Long nights, It's all wayyy to realistic. Solter needs to just port to steam and re-do a survival game like he said he would. ❤

facepunch (rust) is the only ones going after their game, so without a rust game they shouldnt be involved. and ideas arent copyrightable so tarkov shouldnt be an issue. the only issue is if solter decided to be lazy for the 3rd time and steal an asset that can take the game down although this is practically guaranteed to not be an issue as solter has most definitely learnt his lesson from lost and dust you should be fine to buy it

I stopped playing this game cause i got so mad. Seriously, wtf is up with campers. This isn't the only reason, but there is just TOO MANY. I'm guilty of doing it myself because there are not enough monuments in the game. I think a lot of people stopped playing because of this, and those people saying "oh just throw a grenade they will die" Dude, u rlly expect me to throw a grenade into EVERY single corner and EVERY single nook and cranny. The guns too, there is not enough. I understand he's adding more and this is just beta beta (sus) but c'mon, u should of at least added like 3 more. Being honest, I completely disagree with your opinion about the mag system. Its really cool, and if u feel like you need to carry more mags, carry 3 of them, and keep half a stack of bullets. In dust and lost you just pulled a mag out of your bum, and that just doesn't make any sense. I kind of see what ur saying but nether less, the mag system is cool. Also, just for anyone asking, BUILDING WILL BE IN THE GAME STOP FUCKING SPAMMING VERIFIED CHAT JUST READ THE FLIPPING DESCRIPTION OF THE DISCORD SERVER U NUMPTYS!!!
