About the band refusing to allow their song be put in GTA6: even if they were popular in the past, my first thought is Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush in Stranger Things. That song got a resurgence from Zoomers and Millennials who had never heard of that song before. People were using it in tiktok videos, and it charted in 54 different countries, even topped charts in 11 different countries, including the US.

I think it's best you guys get a full weekend off to relax and enjoy yourself with your friends and family. Or have no pressure to leave a birthday party or super bowl party and just have some free time. It's totally understandable to try to change things up a bit after 15 years of doing the same schedule. On a personal selfish note; I'm usually out and about every weekend and have been struggling trying to figure out when to sit down and listen and write out timestamps for the podcasts for the last few episodes. But I'm super inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Whatever is best for you guys!

Just want to say my boy FrootSnax is dead wrong about music royalties. You DO get paid for having your music played on the radio. I agree exposure is important though, I would've taken the 7.5k personally. It is below industry standards for say a TV advert, especially because those have recurring royalties.

I searched and it said GTA5 and GTA Online have over 750 songs in them. What could Rockstar realistically pay per song? It can't really be compared to movies, this is in game radio, it shouldn't really be all that different than the real radio. Artists should be begging their labels to get them in GTA.

Friday streams are cool, It fits better with your work schedule. Just means that the podcast, is now a non-interactive VOD on Saturday. On Friday as it is Not able to watch it live anymore on twitch & not being able to interact live with the chat. Weekday (2 pm PST / 5 pm EST) is a tough time slot. Either PST at a day job. Or EST coming home from day job in traffic, then cooking dinner. By the time youd be ready and settled in at home. Stream would be over. Assuming that the average US viewer has a Monday to Friday 9-5. It eliminates the reason for me to use twitch at all actually. & how do I cash in my prime sub now? Can I even do that when your not live? Do pause my VOD youtube, then log into my twitch, just to cash in that prime-sub? Possibly something like a weekday that isnt Friday, Saturday, Sunday so you guys can rest. (6 pm PST / 9 pm EST) Would be the widest audience-at-home net you could cast. & then you guys would have your whole weekends free'ed up.

Like Rocco said, depending on the game I might actually prefer the higher graphical fidelity with a more cinematic framerate. GTA is one of those games. I had a PS3 that would constantly overheat and it played GTA 5 slower than anyone else’s PS3 that I knew.. It looked like a 24fps movie, it was awesome. I don’t want to upgrade because I want to replicate that experience with GTA 6

I also got food poisoned from a local pizza place, one of the only times ever, all it was was a cheese pizza and it was immediate. Talking about the GTA 6 music situation, they mention "exposure" as a perk. I don't remember a single song from the GTA 5 soundtrack. I listen to From Nowhere by Bardson from the GTA 5 PC trailer regularly though. I remember 2 songs from Saints Row 3 but mostly because of the set pieces the songs were attached to. Is exposure really a fair argument?

I could be really anecdotal on this but the few exclusives Ps5 has are titles Playstation fans don't even really care for. I've been dying for a PC port of Rebirth and whenever I ask friends who have a ps5 what they think of it they tell me they have zero interest in playing it.
