Hum Kaha kay suchay thy: Mehreen knows that her inhaler has been repeatedly stolen, weird things have been happening in her room and being such a sensitive person, how can she not notice her stuff has been moved and still her door is never locked? And how can she trust anyone with her diary that has all her feelings and secrets available for reading at all times. She doesn’t even share anything with her best friend but keeps her diary in her room for Mashal to check every little thing about her. She should be careful because otherwise she is so smart

PEHLI SI MOHABBAT Few weeks ago, in the SH comment section, a viewer predicted that Rakshi WOULD marry the widowed neighbour, while Aslam would marry his cousin Bushra. Both couples would have reasonably happy marriages. Post time lapse, Rakshi's step daughter (who she'd lovingly bring up) would fall in love with Aslam's younger brother, and theirs would be the Pehli Mohabbat that would have the happy ending, as the families would finally have come to their senses!! Whoever had predicted this all those weeks ago, Bravo! Currently, this scenario does seem the most plausible (from the happy ending perspective Sheheryar had hinted in an interview)!

I saw Mashal carrying keys of Mehreen’s room, Amna. Still, a lot of situations in HKKST don’t seem convincing, and raise a lot of questions. Mehreen is a strong willed girl, with a lot of self respect, who doesn’t like sharing her grievances and achievements with anyone, but why doesn’t her khala tell her son about Mahreen’s accomplishments, like getting prizes for her paintings. An award ceremony was even shown on the TV? Her mother was never bothered about Mehreen not having an AC in her room. Couldn’t she get one installed in her room? No one starts painting that good one fine morning. You have to have talent from childhood. How come Aswad didn’t know about it? Did he never visit his Nani as a young boy, a teenager? Why didn’t Awad ever try to call Mehreen, if he had the same feelings for both Mashal and Mehreen as cousins? Is Mashal that dumb to think that Awad would never know the truth about Mehreen? Did she think he could never go into her room and see the paintings. They are khala zad after all. Bizarre!

Aswad is shown as a really dumb character who will believe whatever he sees and hears without investigating further. Despite his mother defending mehreen, he still believes mashal's lies. Mashal is proving to be a downright evil character and not a grey one as we were told. Her toxicity is getting unbearable, if it wasnt for mahira i wouldnt have been watching this drama because of its toxicity.

Aswad is really fool. In the last episode I thought that he is just pretending that he is believing Mashal but now it is clear that he actually believes on everything mashal tells him about mehreen. May no one gets such childhood friends/cousins who won't believe in them when they are grown up.

Initially I thought this play will be better thn the novel but now I realized, novel was much better as at least they shown that Aswad had no communication with Mehreen before so it was believable that he didn't knw about her but even in novel his continuously not being able to find the truth for so long was far fetched and unreal. But here in the drama, they showed that Aswad met mehreen in their teens too n they were quite friendly, thn why didn't he knws that she can paint n mashal as child n teenager never did any such thing. And yes that khala being not able to bragg about her niece's achievement is again so out of character.

Hum kaha ke sacha thy: Prince Aswad is quite confused and appears to never have read Cindrella. If he did he would know Mehreen's household has all the Cindrella-like elements and who the stepmother/stepdaughter/villain(s) are. After the major plot twist this novel does take a dismal turn (no this is not a spoiler) - hope in the drama, Mehreen stands her ground w/ or w/o the support of the Prince(s). Other than that everyone is doing a wonderful job and justifying their respective characters.

HKKST: The episode in some scenes felt a bit dull, but generally it was a good episode. We knew since the beggining that Mehreen loves Aswad, and even though he said that he doesn't have feelings for neither Mehreen nor Mashal, I think this episode proved the opposite and at least made me think that he has unsure feelings for Mehreen. And honestly, Mashal is slowly and steadily becoming a villain and even though they're making it look like she hates Mehreen because of the insecurity about Mehreen coming in between of her and Aswad, I think it is because of the inferiority complex Shagufta made her feel as a kid. Or maybe it could be both. The scene I loved the most was obviously the Mehreen - Aswad coffee scene, but didn't like at all that he again went into the whole "Mashal ne kaha hai toh sahi kaha hoga" mode. One thing I didn't understand though was that the friend, who's also Saffan's cousin, is so chill about Mehreen literally being enamoured with Aswad. But anyways, the twist has been laid with Saffan's mother having met Mehreen and wanting to talk about marriage. Really excited to see how she ultimately gets married to Aswad!! Performances Obviuosly were great as always.

Okay so it is evident that Mashal tries to be who Mehreen is. This can be seen by how she lies about the paintings and tries to take part in debates only because Mehreen is good at it. So she 'embodies' the 'person' who Mehreen is. And aswad is in love with this 'person' and will find out about Mashals reality in due time.

Fitoor: The only sensible conclusion, according to the concept of the drama, ( in my view), would be Haider tells Dilnasheen that he wants her to stay with him, regardless of miscarriage, because he loves her. At the same time he gives her the choice to decide. Haider tells Hamza’s family that they are responsible for Hamza’s condition, not Dilnasheen. Hamza’s family backs off, Dil decides to go with Haider , and Hamza respects her decision and decides to move on. Haider makes Dil’s family realise how unfair and obnoxious they have been for not trusting and supporting Dil. Mehmal tells Haider’s mom that she was the cunning manipulator. That is what a hero should be like despite all humanly weaknesses, although the slap still would not and cannot be justified.

I think, while an amazing director, Farooq Rind really slows his dramas by playing long OSTs over and over again. He did that in ishq zah e naseeb, pyaar k sadqay, pukaar, and now in HKKSH. Sonay pe suhaga, now he has two songs for HKKSH which both played multiple times in the last episode. Not only does it unnecessarily drags the scene, takes away from the actors' performances, but also takes away the impact that a well-timed placement of a background score can have on a scene. It's a recurring problem for him

About views of KAM: there are one sided lovers like Farhad in this world, who blame the girl and the society for breaking their heart by not accepting their one sided love. We can get an idea of number of these people by the number of likes on those sad heartbroken quotes vale posts on Instagram and hence the views of the show. And it's pretty clear that these are the people watching the show by the comments of the show (as I have seen in the initial 6-7 episode).

KAM views are because 1st season was a classic and people loved it but it was never uploaded in HD online hence the lack of views + the fact that youtube wasnt mainstream back in 2011. As far as Season 2 is concerned, it wasnt uploaded in HD either although it wouldn't have gathered massive views because of the bad execution. The title KAM is a brand. add all these facts + geo's marketing and feroze's star power, u get all these views.

And this season is based on different Novel " Abdullah" which was actually released in 2009 , I've gone through the synopsis of this novel, so it felt enthralling and captivating because of actors performances.

I did not watch HKKST, firstly I can't bear and endure these "saazishain". It would have been better if prime focus was on "Mental awareness", It's not that intriguing - a normal plot. What's the main lead upto?! And people please stop labelling any particular writer "Perfectionist". Umera Ahmad has written some really good novels but some of her doesn't go with the flow. They quickly reveal a lot of things in drama. The novel reveal that Mashal have a spare key of Mehreen's room as well her drawers in the very end which make you curious how Mashal was always one plan ahead of Mehreen. Aswad was totally head in heels for Mashal's beauty and confident in novel which Mehreen lacks. Maureen was supposed to be dusky and average looking girl in novel. Now in drama they changed that Aswad is falling for Mehreen's qualities which Mashal is imitating.

Zaviyar Nathan Ejaz is around 25. He was a student at the school where I worked. He was in the dramatics society and incredibly talented since then..what I like about his acting, is that this character Mehran could easily have been over exaggerated and made cringeworthy..but he managed to maintain a balance between the drama in the story and the drama in his body language and face. Good job kid! Wishing you all the best!

HKST: in the novel, actually there was no love interest between Aswad and Mehreen. They had a good relationship in their teens but after Mashal's friendship with Aswad, they never got along well. Safwan was the actual love interest of Mehreen and she was madly in love with him. They have changed the dynamics of their relationship (Aswad and Mehreen) I don't know why. They are showing in the drama that Mehreen is actually in love with Aswad and she is getting involved in Safwan in trying to move on.

Novel had its flaws but the plot was quiet different. Novel could be written better with more details. But in drama, they shouldnt make it ordinary love triangle. Only good acting, stellar cast and amazing direction making it interesting.

I don't know what is it about Khuda aur Muhabbat but it really makes me wait for it every week. I want to see his spiritual journey and not look out for Mahi anymore. The issue with making dramas on old novels is that the time setting is completely off. The original novel was set in the 90s and obviously the dynamic and how things were completely different then. Directors and screen writers need to mould the stories a bit atleast so that they match and settle in today's time. Like even in the original novel mehreen was writing diaries but we are in 2021 right now so diary could have been replaced with maybe a laptop or something

Aswad's character i find too problematic tbh. Guy has no deen eman. His body language is weird. If be comes out as a disturbed character in the end i wouldnt be surprised. He's clearly been leading on mashal with daily evening conversations. On the other hand his behavior towards mehreen. From best friend to a judgmental uncle's role, how does this happen with mashal's input alone? 5th episode was a drag with flashbacks. And constant play of ost. Also dont you think what Mehreen is doing to Saffwan is unfair? If youre so involved and dreamy about aswad then better own it than continue to lead the boy. Who is btw clearly a more sane choice but bhen ji bachpan ki friendship se bahir nai arai. Definitely all 3 characters are gray and i hope they face the consequences too. 😕

Fitoor: I understood why the phone conversation between Dilnasheen and Hamza's mother was shown. But the things she said to Dil were already said to her by Hamza's family earlier so how this time her emotions changed towards him was not understandable. And Hamza again was shown as the psychotic, drug influenced villain. All I want to say this time is that Fitoor has become a mess no one knows where to start cleaning up from. It has become that mess where everyone has done something so wrong, you don't know whom to root for in the end: the first supportive now psychotic drug influenced guy who forces his lover to meet him, the wife who actually had the affair, the husband that doubted and insulted his wife throughout and slapped her when she asked the right question or the woman who started this downward spiral because of her own personal regrets and got a "happy ending" after ruining many people's lives. The only thing I'm happy about is that Dil had a miscarriage but this also will be used to make Haider the hero as he will accept his now "flawed wife" and it will show that Haider was respectful and perfect since the beggining and Dil was wrong throughout. Have lost all hopes now.

There is so much change in drama from Novel. In Novel Mehreen complete live two different lives - one which is in her university where people respect her and one in home where everybody treat her like unwanted. And she lost her real self in between two. Mehreen was a character in novel who has lot of friends and fans in university, Rabia's cousin Safi likes but he was not the second lead. There was another guy name 'Asfand' which Mehreen truly love, she stopped caring about Aswad the day she get to know Mashal and him are contacting each other. The drama truly differ though, Mehreen and Aswad both were love with different person but here they conclude that though they are in line toward Mashal and Saffam but they want to search each other in them. Mehree see Aswad in Saffan and Aswad like qualities of Mashal (apparently Mehreen)
