i wouldnt say Mukesh was king of sad songs. It was just that his voice was sad, even joyful songs seems sad when he sings. Rafi was king of all types of songs. You will understand this when you realize he had such a beautiful voice but when he sang sad songs, you feel the sadness, that is the mark of a great singer. He was an institution like no other.

रफी साहब भारत के सबसे अच्छे गायक "नहीं" थे....!!! हां निसंदेह वो भारत ही नहीं बल्कि पूरी दुनिया के सबसे अच्छे "प्लेबैक सिंगर" जरूर थे इसमें कोई शक नहीं। एक गायक जो लाइव गाता है, स्टेज शो में गाता है....क्लब में गाता है, महोत्सव में गाता है...उसकी खासियत अलग होती है....लेकिन एक प्लेबैक सिंगर की गायन योग्यता और कौशल इन सबसे अलग होती है...!! प्लेबैक सिंगर के लिए गाने के समय बहुत सारे लिमिटेशन होते है। उसे धुन के मीटर में बंध कर गाना होता है....उसे उस किरदार जिस पर गाना फिल्माया जा रहा है इसके अंदाज...फिल्म में गीत के सिचुएशन, और जिस एक्टर पर वो गाना फिल्माया जा रहा है उसके अंदाज का भी खयाल रखकर गाना होता है...!!! इसलिए प्लेबैक सिंगिंग कहीं अधिक चैलेंजिंग होती है.... वरना तो इतने महान महान गायक भारत में हुए चाहे वो पंडित भीमसेन जोशी जी हों, पंडित जसराज, कुमार गंधर्व, उस्ताद अजमत खान....पर वो सब प्लेबैक सिंगिंग नहीं कर सकते थे....जैसे रफी किशोर मुकेश आदि विशुद्ध भारतीय क्लासिकल में। रफी साहब को सबसे योग्य प्लेबैक सिंगर इसलिए कहा जाता है वो भी आजतक...क्योंकि वो गीत को पांच स्तर पर दूब कर न्याय करके गाते थे....!! किरदार का अंदाज गीत की सिचुएशन किरदार को निभा रहे एक्टर का अंदाज गीत के लफ्जों की सबसे सही समझ और गीत के धुनों और गीत के मीटर की समझ। ये योग्यता रफी साहब में विलक्षण थी इसलिए आप उनके इस समय के कोई भी गीत सुन कर अंदाजा लगा सकते थे की वो गीत किस हीरो पर फिल्माया गया होगा...!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍❤

मुझे ये बात बिल्कुल ही नापसंद है की एक सिद्ध हो चुकी चीज़ को अलग दृष्टिकोण से देखके ये विवाद जगाया जाए की वो चीज़ इस ढंग से या उस ढंग से बेहतर हो पाती. दरअसल कोई भी चीज एक बार लोगो के दिल में बस जाती है तो फिर उसे उसी दृष्टिकोण से देखने की या सुननेकी या महसूस करनेकी आदत पड़ जाती है. इसे विवादित करके उस महसूसगी को कमतर दिखाना अपने आप में एक कम जचने वाली कोशिश है. इंसान कभी ये सोचता है क्या की उसने किसी अलग परिवार में जन्म लिया होता तो वो बेहतर या कमतर होता ?? क्योंकि ऐसा होने pe ye wo खुद न रहते हुए कोई और शख्शियत बन जाता है. इस विषय में जितना चाहे दलीलें हो सकती है पर सारी व्यर्थ है, दिमाग को us anand se door karne wali बाते है.
