The reason rom&nd is like a "dupe" of the rare beauty lip tints is because rom&nd is a korean beauty brand and Rare Beauty just found out about them and decided to make them, and they came out with cool shades! So I do agree with you on that one.

In my personal opinion RB is over hyped considering its price point. Some of the products are great but the complexion products in my opinion are very mediocre like the foundation oxidises and the concealer is also not that great. The poweders are below average. The only thing which is good is blush & lip product which again doesn't justify the price point at all. Hence i truly do not gravitate towards the whole hype. I think Indian brands and already available international brands have already done well & there's no void in my personal opinion which needed to be filled by this launch.

Rare beauty products are so damn good and is a staple product for people overseas coz it’s so affordable for us over here and works with the weather conditions here too, but when I saw the prices of the same products on my visit to India my jaw dropped coz hell I won’t be paying those prices for rare beauty if I were in India as there are better options out there which are fairly cheaper too. It’s always sad how affordable products in North America always have such hiked prices in India.

Guys, I have seen many pro makeup artists or owners saying that the cost comes with the brand name and packaging. Aside from base products, stick with your affordable brands for all other items. Unless you want to buy only for the colour or the packaging. Most of them can be duped.

That tinted moisturiser definitely oxidises. I had bought it in the US and thankfully I was able to return it. I don’t think that make up looks great on you after 6 hours because of the make up. I think it’s coz your skincare game is fantastic and your skin is so healthy and good. I would recommend getting the Kind Words lipstick in Wise. It’s good for the dusty skin tone.

When Rare beauty launched in the states, I tried most of her products and none of them impressed me much except for the lip balm in stay neutral. I got the Kiro beauty tint and i loved that over rare for sure! and rom&nd lip oil tints are much better and long lasting than rare's. I haven't tried the concealer but IK I won't be impressed and Toofaced has always been my no.1 and nothing topped the finish. The blush is just pigmented and not buildable, wasn't impressed with the either. So it was an okayish brand for me, I love the Kiro from India more

The most awaited haul! I was looking for the swatch of Joy on Indian skintone. It's the shade that I'm eyeing. The tinted moisturizer looks a good match on camera, maybe it's darker irl. It looks like a perfect match for you on camera. The whole makeup look is gorgeous❤

Romand tint is not the same with Rare lip oils. I have both. They are not even close. Romand one feels so gloss like and stickier. I think Rare beauty lip oil is actually a mix between Dior lip tint and Korean glass tint like Laka or Espoir one.

Why hyping up for products that are not even readily available , i am a makeup artist and i can tell that any makeup product is not worth the money it is , its all about the packaging and customised output of a product . If you dont believe me just ask any cosmetic chemist , or visit a factory . The lables are also made in india and stick over here . I believe in purchasing and promoting products which are indie and good quality. well this video seemed honest ,❤

RB IMO is overhyped esp for the price they're sold in India.... I got them from my paris and Istanbul visits. Foundation/concealer are oxidising, lip oil is not an oil if you have money for this get clarins, mascara dries out really quickly and its not water proof, eyeshadows are really chunky. Liquid highlighters, souffle and blushes are good though. But after a while you loose interest, so guys chose wisely because its costing a lot in India😅 The ingredients are not that unique as well.... I really want bareminerals and milk makeup in india😢

A tip... Always use light textured foundation/ tinted moisturizer with a dense brush or fingers to avoid wasting the product as sponge will soak it up

I think you can use a different Color background as the one in this video blends with your skin so the product or your face is not constrasted well so a bit difficult to see

Rare beauty lip oils are not lip oils actually . Rare beauty lip oils leaves a tint its like lip tint with little nourishment. Not worth it

Rare beauty mascara was literally killing my lashes. My eyelids would feel super dry and burn. the mascara would actually weigh my lashes down and my lashes were falling off. It’s the worst mascara I have ever tried in my life. Although I do really love the tinted moisturizer!!
