Put the front coilovers on my 6 inch lift and set it on 5 as the installer recommended and maaaaaaaaaan what an improvement especially on freeways and roads with a lot of turns . About to do the rear soon

I just installed the RC Vertex 3" kit and I did notice the CV angles are at extreme. I saw a show on TruckU, season 17 black F150 if you want to watch, that talked about Trakmotive Extended travel CV axles. They have new technology with CV extended angles for lifts like this. But after finally talking to Trakmotive they said that show on TruckU was experimental and those CV axles arnt available yet! Nobody makes extended travel CV axles like Trackmotive is about to produce. As of july of 16, 22 they said maybe 3 or 4 more months and they might be ready.

Put some 2-3 inch upper control arms in. When you dona strut lift you have to change your control arms. Get an alignment and your good to go

I’ve been rocking the same set up on my 14 twin turbo 5.3, 35x12.5 R22, 7.5 rough country lift. Set the rears to 1 and the front to 8 makes for nasty pulls out of the hole. Setting land speed records lol.

Yoiu will only TRULY appreciate a great resevoir multi stage gas shock whn you off road, and no longer bounce in the cab , and can maintain control of the pedals steering wheel, and avoid hitting your head on the headliner. Great shocks are the key part of a great suspension, and difference between a lift or advanced suspension lift.

Curious, having it on the hardest setting, what are the pros?, you said less body roll. For example KYB struts and shocks monomax gas adjusts the OEM X LG or whatever, I watched three mono Max videos which are the strongest ones you can get? All I know is that the guys liked them better than the gas adjusting the ones before that. So in that case the rougher things got the more things dampened for them. I asked them what they would match the front with, I know this isn't a KYB the video, but I was looking to get those KYB monomax shocks and I was going to get coilovers in the front KYB, but I had to watch this video on coilovers to see what you said. I was just wondering what I would match the front with if I was getting monomax in the back KYB what would I match him with in the front is there only one is there two? And a coilover I was looking to go for just for Less labor quicker even though I'm not doing the work. Also coilovers for the rear don't seem to be a possibility for my vehicle to 2009 Santa Fe 3.3 L V6 all wheel drive, Vehicles got 302,000 km on it Springs are the same all the way around shocks are changed in the front sorry struts, still the original shocks so I want to change everything. Is there a coilover for the rear of this vehicle if not, would you replace the coils all the way around sorry in the back getting coilovers in the front. It’s called expansion joints you speak of with road condition. It’s common here in California. You’ll never get a complete smooth ride on it due to the unsprung weight of trucks. Even 3.0 King’s with supporting components of aftermarket coils and rear leafs can be felt. Also big wheels with small don’t help either.

With this set up what’s the smallest rim I can run on my 2018 Silverado ? I have a stock height with 33s on 17s and I like the more tire than wheel look, I was thinking about doing this lift but I don’t wanna run 22s with rubber bands, I actually use my truck off road and at the dunes, I need some mf tire! 🤣

The body roll and bounciness on these and as well as on RC N3 struts are HORRIBLE. Not for a daily driver. They're good off road but absolutely horrible on road. I drive my truck about 100 miles a day for work and RC struts made my body hurt bad bc id constantly have to stiff myself up not to be thrown around on the freeway.
