My personal issues with RH right now: -Campus three waves stopped releasing and now they’re working on a whole new campus before three is done -Updates have been boring lately -Element fairy sets require you to buy a toy IRL to get (even though the game revolves around magic elements) -Masculine body was replaced (I wouldn’t mind if they just added a new body type option without getting rid of the other) -Farming methods don’t match with prices (paid too little to purchase too high) These are my only issues, it honestly makes me sad because I’ve loved this game since I was 12 and now it’s dying

I’m a teen girl and still LOVE doing roleplays. But the lack of roleplays in Royal high made me quit, I miss the days when I would always troll with my cousin or just join some crazy rp. I still roleplay, but in other games or mainly just do my own roleplays with my friends through text. I miss the old Royal high and hopefully someday it can revive itself

As an og royale high player, I agree with your views so much! If you look at this back then, this creation was more than just a dress-up game. It was filled with so much laughter, and happiness. I genuinely miss the trolls, and when sets were not obnoxiously expensive. The fun, memories, and friendships we created, gave the game more recognition and appreciation. In these times, we may never feel the same happiness and enjoyment we felt playing this game - which makes Royale High a truly memorable experience.

When royal high announced that there will be no advent calendar this year, that was the END of me, also 300 diamonds FOR A GIFT!? I was grinding up diamonds for 2 years straight now, but since I have studies coming up I JUST CANNOT. I am a free-to-play player in roblox and if royal high wants rich people to play their game, THAN SO BE IT- I was a dedicated player of royal high but I quit and I don't regret.

Royale high holds a special a place in my heart❤️ it was a blast during the pandemic, making friends , giving outself this fun distraction to not feel any negative emotions, idk if its because the feeling has changed because we r all growing up but i think we can all agree , royale high is an unforgettable memory

The community sucks. Everybody online IS rude, aggressive and disgusting bullies. Barbie's husband is a weirdo and a gaslighter. After what callmehaley exposed everything behind the scenes of being a rh influcerer I was FRRRRR DONE with royale high. Yes it looks beautiful yes I was so excited about the new campus when it first came out but now it's just boring. They canceled the new years event last year, and I believe they did it TWICE. No advent calendar this year and the prices are way TOO HIGH IT'S FREAKING ANNOYING. I can't get SHIT even though I'm a OG player and I have like 400k+ diamonds, that is still not enough. You need at least 2 million to get everything and also have some left over to save. The dorms in the third campus it's difficult to build, as much as I loveeee the idea, they should have made it less HARDER to build and as well as not too pricy. It's hard to grind diamonds, I can barely get any diamonds at this point. The game just point blank sucks nowadays. It's not a good game no more and there is no point in playing when you can barely get items. It takes YEARS to grind literally. The game is a not new player friendly either. And for that reason I have quit. I haven't played the game in a year now. For the ones who are saying they don't want the game to die, well too bad. We all were thinking the same thing but you can't lie about the fact that the game is boring and not new player friendly no more. It's difficult to grind diamonds in that game so there is no point in playing. But hey, if you still wish to play, be my guess! But at the end of the day, the game is dying and it's time to move and find new games to play. Hopefully there will be a new game that will give us those good old memories that we had in Royale High.

I quit Royale High for similar reasons, but the eye strain when I look at the game is crazy... I liked it when it was a bit less decorated and had gentler lighting. Only new players remain in Royale High at this point, and I feel annoyed knowing I spent way too much time grinding. I remember staying up late just to get the advent items early, meeting up with friends, and doing New Year's quests with them.

Ex- RH youtuber heree! 8:29 thats our new currency. (unfortunatley. and we can't even trade for the items) We need to log in everday to get cloud cash to be able to get the fountain girl set. The only problem is the cloud cash is super inconsistent. Some players start off with none while others start off with a lot. Some players who logged in everyday still got 12-20 cloud cash (including me) So that just makes everything less fun. A lot of the stuff i mention is out of order so just bare with me. There are lots of reasons why the players just left. Another reason why its kinda dead is because the developers (not ALLof them, there were some.) hardly listen to the community. They've been coming out with toy sets for months, meanwhile there have been no sets for players who didn't buy the dolls. Most of the nicer sets are locked behind a paywall which makes it less fun for the players. They also removed the diamonds around campus 2 (5:13) which was the majority of the community's way of farming. Anything the community would ask for or say would be met with silence. Later on they (they being the official RH valks page) kinda -abandoned- left the community on twitter and moved to threads, the reason being the community was very -persistent- "Toxic" when it came to the new school, why it was taking so long, and why there were no new sets. (Probably because their main focus was the toys.) There was also a problematic dev (no longer active) who constantly riled up the Twitter community before or after an update would drop. 🤷‍♀ They also removed several badges from a ton of creators who may have at one point, spoken out- Which was the last straw for everyone so a lot of people left after that. Also, the steryotyped hairstyle name situation, the diversity when it came to body types, the valentines day divinia park Black History Month/lunar new year situation, refusal to fix the cherry blossom set, etc. The list goes on and on but these are just the main reasons. 🙃

as rh player ,ig i should explain your questions, first there's no gift calendar for this year (they cancelled it for this year) all old calendar items went on sale in shop (they got kinda expensive but they were free) , second the frost collect in the skating realm (top reach doesn't give you anything yet(mostly think rh going to join the roblox event and made more things into this realm)) and atm it just a way to level up by exp , third barbie still work in her game (she didn't give it to her husband but he is now a partner dev ), i think that's it if you have any questions u can ask her or in your server

No because I love Royale High and was so excited for the new school but when it came out and the players spawned directly in the new school, I was stuck in the loading screen and was just stuck there even if I waited all day! I tried on different accounts and devices like my pc, then a tablet, then phone but nothing was working. Unless I joined a player who was able to join the game and was in other realms other than the new school I could actually play the game but I still couldnt enter the new campus, andwithout a friend I couldnt do anything. This made me and some of my friends and cousins, who faced the same problems quit. The problem is as simple as the high graphics and our device not being able to handle it but still it was so frustrating tbh, so I just abandoned it all lol. I just wish we had a different option when we join like how we used to instead of directly into the new campus..

As an og player, this type of videos make me almost cry, since I think EVERYONE miss old royal high, miss those memories, miss the constant updates, miss the fun videos, miss getting badges of creators, miss everything. But now, well...Royale high focus more on get everything more expensive, and since it is expensive everyone`s interest flies away, plus how barbie and other developers of the game workes and only focused on the new campus instead of the rest of the game, really went wrong...But not at all, since 2020 and 2021 updates were in my opinion a really good updates for the game, like chritsmass, halloween, valentines, summer, even april fools...But well, even the dolls of the game are really expensive, and not worth it, like. Who on earth hadthat idea? I know the game has kids playing it but bro, most of the players are grown up, why would we get the dolls for only a code and badge? I guess they tried to do the same thing as what they did with the ring of barbie, but bro, hell nah

As a hardcore rh player, it mainly has lost players because of the toy sets, inflation, and toxicity. Lots of people boycotted it for several reasons, one being removing a youtuber's badge. Lots of the old sets have become more expensive. The items themself are not completely hideous, but they are unnecessarily expensive. I've played since 2019 (I was late). The devs are more caught up on getting money now, forcing players to play more to get anywhere in the game. It used to be a fun little winx fan game but was ruined by greed which happens to most games!!

Ngl one of the things that kept me playing was the daily login where you could get diamonds. Now they have some other currency for only one set! One! And the logins give you 100 dollars when the set costs way more like 4000 at least for an item.

Honestly, I used to really enjoy RH, it was my favorite game and I loved it, however, it slowly started to get more expensive and updates always late or never arriving (Diamond Beach Wave 3, for example) and that made me a bit upset. I kept on playing but it started to get tiring, there was no roleplay anymore, which was one thing I loved to do in the game when I was younger, grinding was annoying, in the new school I hated how you had to teleport for everything, instead of just going in, it could be annoying for multiplayer specially. Then they started to make the dolls outfit and stuff (also my friend said purchasing the dolls would support Israel though I'm not sure if it's true), and I just gave up. Everything was just too expensive. In the past, younger me could buy simple things easily and just have fun with it. I think they're just making things harder for beginners, too p2w and a lot of bad decisions. also extra 9:50 me and my friend have been playing royale high since 2017, none of us have gotten a single halo :')

I used to play Royale High for a long time and would always try to keep up to date on what's new and try to grind for diamonds a lot, as well as do the daily logins. Eventually, it got to a point where I got bored and even with the drama that went on social media with some youtubers/influencers/artists being told to stay silent on certain things made me feel not wanting to play as much. Not to mention the toxicity of some people on social media attacking the devs or people who are/were involved with RH. I still enjoy the people I still follow who make other content and I'm not against anyone who still enjoys Royale High. It's just kind of grown out of me after quite awhile. I remember I introduced RH to one of my friends and he gave it a try and we would make some fun outfits and just have a good time together. But I also feel some things in RH currently may need some attention or at least some changes about certain things, but I won't get into details on it. Overall, if you still like RH that's great. I may check in on it once in awhile to see how the game is doing, but it wouldn't be my first pick for games to play on Roblox as of now. The old days of RH were such a nostalgia. Wish we could just go back down memory lane from all those fun times. 🥲

I used to love royal high so much but now i've quit. when i did play, i did roleplays a lot and played sunset island religiously. when I grew out of roleplay, the sunset island became my main thing. all i wanted to do there was win and get more money and items (because it's very hard to make a good outfit without good items that are extremely overpriced). it got to the point where royale high was the only game that i really played during that time and all i did was grinding and sunset island. i took grinding very seriously and would constantly look up videos on youtube for how to get diamonds faster and made a whole grind routine list on my notes app. so yeah, i grinded A LOT... and the worst part was that it wasn't even that fun and i was wasting hours each day grinding on that game and trying to get pretty items for my fits, my locker, and my dorm (which i did; i had quite a lot) and as i did, i started to question what the whole point of the game really is. like i don't enjoy roleplay anymore so what is even fun about this anymore? what's my goal besides winning sunset island and making cute outfits and getting more items? I was also starting to get bothered by the lack of updates and i was a bit disappointed by the arrival of campus 4 and the halloween update (for 2024) so shortly after the update, i just left. AND IT FELT SO FREEING!! I was also starting to get into dress to impress (since september) and now dress to impress is the only game i play on Roblox (because the other ones are a bit boring imo, and when i find smth i like i just get hyperfixated on it) So since i started playing dti, i've honestly had so much fun. i didn't care about grinding or farming because they made it EASY to get. and there were also PLENTY of codes and beautiful free items to wear already, so i didn't have to worry about not having a good enough fit. I finally found a gave that i felt had a reason to play (getting towards top model and improving my outfits so i can win) and i actually have fun doing it. im almost a runway diva and im enjoying every second of it. if you read all of this, thank you lol

as an og player, Yes, yes it is :') Honestly i think it started when trading came out, but it went down more faster at 2022. -No one Roleplayed anymore (Which was one of the main aspect of Rh back then) -Sets got more expensive -Things become more grindy -late updates -Grinding diamonds also become harder when they changed the diamond spawn point into random place instead of set location in campus 2. Also removed the enchantix high. + Yeah Rh isn't new player friendly now unless you have nothing else to do than just grind in rh. -All the current players care about now is trading. -Also to decorate your dorm decently you probably need like 200k -1 mil diamonds. and certain levels to unlock some dorm editing features :/ -Og players grew up, most of them now have jobs, college, real life stuff to do and as the game became more grindy, they don't bother catching up anymore. -Many controversial drama behind the scenes like problematic content creator and devs -Devs not listening to the community -Advent calendar got canceled this year, which is why they put the once free to get winter accessories for sale in the store. -Masc body getting changed into a more twinkified version lol -Also there's many new pretty sets (Toy sets) but a lot of them are behind paywall :/ Probably the most hated thing in the recent update rn is the change in daily login reward, You no longer earn diamonds and instead another type of currency (Which is the one you can use to buy the fountain girl set) But this also cut off another way for players to earn diamonds (especially the one who doesn't have time to grind). You used to able to earn atleast 5k a week from just login reward, and more with the login multipliers if you keep going, now it's no longer an option :/ Long but ty if you read it until the end lol Tell me in the replies if there's more reason why Rh is dying Edit: added more list

I grew up with RH. The fast but low quality updates were gold to us. The things weren’t expensive, and I always was so excited to finish school and hop on the game with my friends. The Christmas village, which came back for 2-3 updates, was peak nostalgia and we never complained, as it was still fun af. Our outfits were easier to be made and roleplays were hella fun. Now they are just money hungry. Slow updates, good quality but end up being boring af after waiting for a hella while. Nobody plays it anymore, so you can’t hang out with anyone now. Clothes and room decorations are expensive, tryna make us farm hours, days even a month to get something we really want, which also puts in danger our health. What tf was the point of the room if you are gonna charge us more money to get a room decoration than IKEA ever would? Its a game, not real life. A roleplaying game, not a farming game. We want our royale high back. Without toxic and money hungry developers, and bratty children that ruin the entire game.

I played rh for a good 4-5 years back in the day. I loved it, the role playing, the old maps everything. Now it's just too complex and laggy for me. It's also very heartbreaking to see how expensive things are now and THE FACT THAT IN MY ENTIRE CAREER OF PLAYING I HAVEN'T WON A SINGLE HALO. I miss the hotel and enchantix tho. To be honest, I've been playing royale high since 2018-2019, and by time I understand less and less about the game. Things are getting more and more expensive, and with this new school and other things it's hard for me to get diamonds, and my motivation goes away quickly. Royal High's Downfall upsets me a lot. Royal High used to be my comfort game whenever I felt upset, angry etc. When Royal High first came to Roblox in 2017, my friend told me about the game and asked me if I would play with her, I said yes and we had fun. After that day I played the game non-stop. After a while I quit, it got kind of boring so I tried Bloxburg, but now I actively play Dress to impress. Even though I don't play Royal High anymore whenever I'm looking for a game to play on Roblox and I see Royal High, I smile. So this is why Royal High's downfall upsets me a lot. It was the first ever game on Roblox that I'd play everyday. A month ago I joined Royale High, and it's definitely changed a lot since 2019 (when I quit). I joined campus 1 and I started crying tears of nostalgia.

I’ve been playing royale high since it’s release, when you could literally pick free wings in a room to play and it was all winx themed. I didn’t really follow the new update because I kinda gave up when they first announced it a couple years ago. I believe that the game was progressively getting less starter friendly. The first controversial set was December Dream because it was way too much, over the average diamonds we would save for other sets. The moment they deleted the old royale high maps (instead of making minimal changes to avoid copyright issues) the game fan-base just changed. The game itself changed. The care for the community that royale high once had disappeared in months. The new campus was completely rushed (campus 4) and, in my opinion, campus 3 wasn’t really worked on that well. There are so many bugs, a major update with no explanation whatsoever and the game’s main point just changed suddenly. It’s sad to see how the game just died, it was amazing to see new updates and to experience the improvements barbie and her team brought. Greedy takes everything away. I miss royale high so much, I was so excited to see a new campus hoping it would be for the best. Sadly the game is just confusing and there isn’t anyone actually playing anymore. R.I.P old royale high, you will be always missed by your fanbase. ❤

I don't think (personally) that the problem was the lack of updates. Honestly, it was that time that was more enjoyable because people still tried to roleplay or find fun around maps. What caused the issue was how the old royal high disappeared with no trace. Old players who were the base for the game's success became bored of how new and changed everything was, how hard and boring it became. You can't do anything anymore, it's hard to understand even for new players. And when new players see how old players react, they take their word for it. They won't try a game that is told to be bad, they'll go to trendy ones. The day that Callmehbob died and Nightbarbie was born, was the day that Royal high died along with its fanbase. Clearly, most of us just grew out of the new updates.

Idk but when campus 4 will be finished I really hope roleplays will be back, I mostly play rh because of roleplays I just want the magic fairy rps back. I just hope it will get back better and hope farming will be easier aswell in the future. I won't quit since it been my fav childhood game and I just hope in the future rps will be back, fun farming will be back and trolling aswell. I also feel they need to have communication with the players and I know they trying their best to try to make the game back together and since it difficult because of the hate but I just hope the game will get better I still play it and sometimes and still have fun (kind of).

I also think the death of the game has to do with the players. When playing the art game, no one really tries and instead just writes the word, most people focus on getting gems and trading items and there’s no more roleplay anymore. Like, I made so many friends through roleplaying but now, it’s just not fun anymore. I also think it started falling off after they removed enchantix. Also, with the new fairy types, I have no idea what to do. I’m an OG player (played when it was still called “fairies and mermaids winx high school” and was even there when Barbie announced that she was getting married on her Roblox profile!) and even I’m confused with the new update. There’s so many quests to do and while quests are fun, I feel like that’s another factor as to why people aren’t roleplaying due to wanting to fulfill the quests. I love this game, but now, it’s honestly kinda dry and feels like a cash grab. I really miss the Easter event they did with the shops and egg hunt, those were good times.

Ngl royal high sort of sealed their fate when they decided to abandon the campus they had 3 YEARS to finish because they didn’t want to finish the game… and now there’s campus 4 which isn’t bad or anything, it’s just unnecessary. It feels like a desperate attempt to keep player attention. Another thing that bothers me is the stupid toys. The toys just show how money hungry they are…. That’s also shown my the absolutely OUTRAGEOUS set prices. They just want us to spend more time grinding, buying multipliers, all for a set (which I must say normally look incredible) I just think the devs gave up ngl, they don’t care AT ALL what they’re players want, what used to be passion and great development turned into greed and unfinished projects. Also there are hardly any new players like she said in the vid so that means the only stragglers left from the good old days are playing , and eventually they will leave too. It’s sad but enviable, royal high will drop to 1k in the next two years I bet (or less)

Some of the biggest issues I have are with the doll sets. They’re completely locked behind the purchase of irl dolls to get a code to redeem to get them. I would’ve understood if the codes you got from the dolls gave a really good discount. But to lock the set behind the purchase of a toy that you likely other wise wouldn’t even get just feels so scummy. Also, the sunset island mini game is absolutely busted. It’s in desperate need of fixing. There are a couple bugs in it. - The voting hitboxes will sometimes block out the hitboxes of other players, or just disappear entirely. This results in it sometimes being impossible to even vote for some players. And - Sometimes people can get stuck in the floor, which makes the, unable to move, even in scripted cutscenes. This can make it difficult for other players to see their outfit so they can actually decided if they wanna vote for it.

i think that people only go to trading hub to hang out or campus3 to grind which leaves majority of the realms desolate which is so sad to see also the fact that you cannot do tasks (which is the main grinding way) in older realms also contributed to the death of roleplaying since we only have like a few realms able to facilitate the tasks
