I’m a mom of a 1.5yr old with a fiancé and I’m just now starting my business and it’s very nerve wracking. But I know being an entrepreneur is worth the ups and downs. Your videos has helped encourage me to keep moving. Thank you for your vulnerability

i started a writing business in November 2022 then a skincare business in 2023 and it flopped so i wasn’t making enough money for my bills so now i work a very stressful office job. If all my bills were paid for 5 years and i didn’t have to worry about my bills, i would only focus on my skincare business and you’re honestly my biggest motivation, since i found you on tiktok. Now i’m starting a business plan to revamp it as i know the skincare business is my strongest desire in this life. My office job is so stressful, i’m miserable working for someone else and want to quit everyday but again, i have my bills to pay 😂 So keep going miss mamas and at least see if you can hire someone part time to handle the social media marketing for you or admin work so you can focus on new ideas and formulating ❤❤❤❤❤

A coach or someone who can give you a pep talk is like fuel and can help you get through tough business moments. Meds have side effects. Don’t be so hard on yourself…..❤

Right! It never fails to arrive and just when I'm feeling confident and things are seemingly going well its like "WAIT WAIT .... lets really make it real"

Too accurate! Sometimes it just creeps up and it's like WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE. I think those thoughts are totally normal when you're a small biz owner so know that you are not alone!

That's EXACTLY what happens honestly and its soooo overwhelming and scary sometimes

Hunni!!! I have been running 2 businesses for the past 7 years. And I quit and freak out 2 times a week most weeks and 3 times in the bad weeks. But what has remained constant is the businesses. I’ve learned to schedule healthy breaks and a really good financial plan. Where u save throughout the year for the slow times! Budgeting is important. Take your vitamins regularly as we tend to not realize we are lacking health wise and it contributes negatively to our mental health. Also, talk to your dr about your iron intake. As women we tend to get a bit low around period times. And also incorporate walking in your day!! Trust me.. it makes a world of difference!!

It most definitely is just one of those days... I know this is what I want to be doing sometimes it just gets so scary when I have the realization that THIS is my income and my job... I know it sounds silly but sometimes I don't think about it and other times I think wayyyyy too hard about it. Thank you for the comment ❤❤

First, I would like to thank you for your transparency. I’m going to pray that you don’t be so hard on yourself. Nothing wrong with wanting more and keep driving for more. You are inspiration to me. I own a small skin care business as well in the States and I have a job as well. I am praying that I have orders consistency like you , as well as more , stay focus and encouraged. ❤

Thank you so much for this and for the prayer, I'm feeling the need for all prayers out the right now for guidance! I am soooo happy to hear that you also have a skinacare business! What's your business name so I can check it out! I honestly think having a job while building your small business empire is the way to go, sometimes I wish I didn't jump the gun and just head straight into entrepreneurship

Do you create content for TikTok shop or work with brands? That could be the safety net you're looking for. I'm too scared to go full time, I have a real easy corp career that I enjoy, and the skincare and content creation are side businesses. If I double my salary I'd go full time but its not easy so I get it 💚

Hope you are feeling better! I totally get you, as women we like consistency and your mind is just seeking a little bit of stability. Probably, the reason why you think getting a job as a “solution” is because of the forced compromise you will have to give to earn your salary. I would suggest applying that same mindset to your businesses: ✅ set working hours ✅ assign tasks to yourself with deadlines ✅ discuss boundaries with family. Just because you are at home doesn’t mean you are not working I hope this perspective helps! 🫶🏼💗
