Is Rusted Warfare The Full Classic RTS Experience on Mobile??

I've been on a mission to find the best Real-Time Strategy games on mobile, and this led me to Rusted Warfare. Here are my thoughts on this game!

It is good but not sure if this is the best on the iOS App Store. I can think of a few good ones as well such as Machines at War 3 RTS, Land, Air Sea Warfare (HD), Warfare Incorporated, MechCom (1,2,3), RedSun RTS. See my fan Insta 'RTSonMobile' for a lost of approximately 40 RTS games with the focus on premium games without horrible gems and such.

Great video reviewing this game! I have it on mobile and it's a pretty good game to pass time. I recommended you to try another RTS strategy game on mobile. It's called 'Firefight'. It has a close combat feeling and is one of my favs.

@@captainbenzie Just you guys know nearly all the PC mods for the game can also be played on mobile. Can use a online workshop downloader or download the mods from the game's discord channel. You might be interested in the C&C mods in particular.

I've been playing this solidly for a year and the modding community is amazing; map and unit packs, campaigns and even total conversion from aliens and fantasy to known IPs like C&C Red Alert and Star Craft. I even bought a second copy so now I have it on my Mobile and Steam

The community is very active making multiple good mods and maps. Modern Warfare Project is one of the more realistic mod for RW. It might make a round slow as most mods does. Most effective way to fight against enemy a.i is getting a ton of cheap units and storming enemy bases or camp. Its actually the only way to win most maps and the most effective way to take on impossible a.i.

it's design to run and be modded easilly i'll say it might be the intent of the devs because the vanilla is bare bone fun but bare bones some mods are literally different genre than the of games it's base on while other have much more complex mechanic and the engine it't self can run a lot of unit and still lag less than more graphically better games it's so that you can run it on a low end device while also being easy for modder to mods it

Captain Benzie - Mobile Gaming recommend downloading the rusted warfare center app on AppStore you can gets mods there my favorite mod is EK Sylvian mettle Armageddon you should also download es file explorer make a carpet called rusted warfare and a file called a units you put the mods you download in that file hope you have fun :)

@@captainbenzie Look into Moo's Defense Agency mod, and Uber's Mechs. They fit seamlessly with the vanilla game and are basically exspansions to it. If you are looking for some high quality total conversion mods, then look up Sushimaki's mods. Namely his Starust mod (Starcraft) amd his new War of the ring mod (Lord of the rings). They have great balance, music and designs.

I think Rusted Warfare is a very well developed game, have no negatives to say about it other than that I think the developer or developers gave up on the game and it’s not receiving any further updates as of 2022. No pay to win, okay graphics, excellent gameplay, just overall a great game. My thanks to the developers.

Tips 1. Nuke them. 2. Use fabricators 3.experimental units 4.gun ships in 50+ 5.plasma tanks 6.go for the resource pools early 7.upgrade the turrets anti turret and all factorys 8. If going for real players always scout then attack 9.PLAY ON EASY MODE!!! 10.practice 11.anti nukes 12.defend 13. Use a massive force 14. Attack 15. Get good.

It is retro because it's graphics hail from an old discontinued RTS that became open source: Hard Vacuum. Now known as OpenHV. While most units are now unique the structures have similarities such as the terrain, HQ, Air factory, and the Land Factory. Hard Vacuum is discontinued due to it's complexity, as it has supply routes, a different resourcing, procedural terrain and terraforming. See that hill? I don't want to. (Opens fire with massive artillery). Graphically this game is better than OpenHV as good luck distinguishing units apart if you see the size of the sprites. In terms of systems this is good enough but I'd like the system in OpenHV more. Here resources as static. You put down a Refinery and that's it, passive income, it's a more complicated affair in OpenHV, resources are not in the open (they are invisible), you literally have to make a mobile refinery, drive it around to find a mineral deposit, then deploy it to turn it into a refiner but you're not getting income just yet. That Refinery has to send out transporters (builds it automatically for free in regular intervals, thankfully) to your HQ to turn that into credits. Guess what the AI and other players will do? Harass your logistics. Rusted on the other hand has better battles due to it's unit diversity. And the inclusion of Experimentals. It also allows you you to decide at the start how you want to play as. Do you want to play traditional or spice it a bit by not allowing yourself to build structures and instead rely on a mobile base to manufacture units for you, which is my favorite playstyle when harassing other players. Park my carrier near their expansion and watch as chaos ensue

both of these games is open source hell i remember downloading a entire apps that literally rusted warfare but has been overhaul to be a entirely different games with different maps and such and some mobs are what you are saying supplies limited resource unit cap and while it's not as complex as openhv they both if I presume is open source and the engine can support many unit at once in the battlefield it's more so of giving up complex mechanic to be moddedable and run on low end device than being complex and better ai
