After glue was used on vein ablations on legs and to finish treatment sclerotherapy is used below knee what are the chances of it going into deep vein system? Great question. As far as I am aware there is no connection between sclerotherapy and covid vaccine in relation to clots. But new information comes out all the time. You need to check the science regularly.

Hi there had the procedure done 6 month ago now and there is still a lot of skin staining , when I wake up though it seems to disappear until I put pressure on my legs , I went back to see my specialist and he did the scan and there is no problem with the vein It’s all closed still , why do you think this is

Youve likely had other veins fail so they need to do a duplex ultrasound with you standing or slightly reclined. They need to treat the other faulty veins. Your valves have failure within the veins. See a vascular surgeon. Youre seeing the color changes from the veins unable to send blood flow back towards heart.

Can you get sclerotherapy for scars? I have a scar on my knee that is incredibly vascular. When it’s cold out the scar turns a very dark purple. So I was wondering if I got sclerotherapy if it would get rid of a lot of those little blood vessels that are giving the scar it’s very dark color.
